Summary: "I hold no blind loyalty to N97, nor did I to my 9210, 9300, or 9500. But while I have a N97 in my pocket I'll remain true to the Brotherhood. My N97 is my best friend. My relationship is currently on hold while I accustom myself to everything that the N97 can offer me. So far, I haven't put it down. I'm getting married in 7 days and hope to have grown up by then. If not, my N97 will be with me at the top table and I'll mention him in my Wedding Speech.

Summary: "I am a huge fan of Nokia and recommend their phones as the best to everyone I know, but stay away from this phone. I have owned Nokia phones exclusively since 1994. Everything from the 2128 to my latest N95 and now the N97. I was super excited about this phone when I first got it but now may never buy another Nokia again.
Summary: "Avoid this phone. Again a Nokia fan, but this one is the pits, apps crash, runs out of memory, why have such a small C drive for the OS and then fill it with software, also the memory gets clogged with emails, you can't change drives. Oh yes phone crashes. Did a factory reset which did improve the memory.
Summary: "Ever since Nokia realeased the N series phones they have gone seriously down hill with the exception of the n95 8gb.This phone is RUBBISH! Like others on this page i am a bit of a Nokia dude after loving the N95 i thought the n97 would be mega! Wrong, i have owned the phone for 6 months or so and cant wait to get rid! roll on Dec 2011!
Summary: "Like the majority of reviews on here, at first I was in total agreement - when 1st released this phone was doggy doo doo. Here's the good news, update the software via Nokia and all your niggles and gremlins are gone, so much so this mobi kicks Ass. Now please, please before carrying out the software update remember to back up your phone memory in its entirity, this will ensure the phone works correctley.
Summary: "Coming from an N95 8GB, I was very excited by the N97 and found the wait untill I could upgrade to be very tedious. However it very quickly became apparant that the N97 was a dog. First as supplied it was very buggy, running out of RAM, dropping calls, freezing the works. I upgraded to the 2nd generation OS as soon as it was released. Some of the issues improved but not enough.
