Nokia N97 - Wonderful mobile phone! Just amazing.

yuchshenko, Ebay
15 September 2009
  • Summary: The Nokia N97 is the tip of the spear in Nokia's smartphone lineup. It is the most powerful, smartest and fully featured phone of the company. It is also the first Nokia phone to make use of a large touch-display and that alone has raised the expectations from die hard Nokia fans that have refused to switch over to the iPhone. And Nokia has put quite a lot of work and thought in the N97.

"N97 is the best and has the most stable software"

nomadicman04122, CNET
11 September 2009
  • Pros: It is fully functional and easy to use. If you're used to convention this outclasses the Blackberry, X1 and all the Windows MObile OS devices around. Its a brilliant leap from the N90 to the E97 the best since Nokia introduced the E90
  • Cons: It could have had a bit more size and a better constructed "eye" for attaching a strap.

  • Excerpt: Great phone. I love the keyboard and the screen is also very good. Not a big fan of resistive, but in this case, it's no big deal since there is a keyboard. The d-pad is a bit redundant, but good for games. Overall this is a great little phone. I can't wait for what follows in it's footsteps.

This is true that multimedia always having less battery backeup so I am suggesting that the Nokia has to make the quality battery backeup of Multimedia phone if this will be sort out than Nokia N97 Phone is the best phone among the all brand phons So, Please work on it to expand the battery backup.

  • Pros: Interactive and fully customisable interface, QWERT Keyboard and other input options, wi-fi, bigger HDD plus an option to expand, multiprocessing, screen resolution, Camera quality, good speakers and above all FREEDOM unlike iPhone
  • Cons: some people may find it chunky then other phones but not a bigger deal - still fits in pants well, touch screen can be improved

"This device is flawed."

thesaintST1, CNET
1 September 2009
  • Pros: I like the HUGE (and I mean HUGE) array of features this phone offers, right down to the built in FM transmitter, fast broadband Internet (3.5G) and the sliding QWERTY keyboard. Resistive keyboard not as bad as you'd think.
  • Cons: Where do I start. The Symbian OS The menus The MP3 player (control) GPS fails Product NOT properly tested before being released - still buggy Dropped connections to WiFi
