Excerpt: this phone isn't worth the money you get more bang for you buck from other phones. this one is over priced. the Palm pre is better in so many ways. i regret buying this phone. it's just packed with all the original nokia stuff and nothing. also not enough RAM.
Cons: lack of ram, processor could've been better.
Excerpt: The n97 is truly a gud fone. Might have it's own downsides of being underpowered and expensive nut I think it serves it up with the gamut of features that it comes with. It is truly an all in 1 fone. I would recomeend this.

Excerpt: touchscreen is not all that efficient on this phone especially when typing on the touch screen i must always resort to the qwerty keyboard. also it doesn't seem to have the great face detection, i mean when your face is close to the phone it sometimes leaves the touch screen running.
Cons: speakerphone is quiet, headphone jackphone doesn't deliver great quality or loud sounds., touch screen is rather annoying sometimes, camera freezes a lot, one of the LED's already died on my phone, Nokia's employee's are very insulting towards their customers.
Oh N97, I tried so hard to like you, but you did me wrong.

Summary: First, let me say that I've been a user of S60 devices for years now. I even had that awful 3650 with its goofball round keypad. Off the top of my head, I've had and used 3650, 6620, 6682, 9500, 9300, E61, E70, E50, E51, E61i, E65, E71, N73, N82, N95 and the ill-fated N97.
The flagship of the Nseries, but not quite the ultimate.

Excerpt: It looks to me as if there are a bunch of people here who simply want to drag the rating down on a phone that is nowhere near as bad as they claim it is. This is from someone who actually has the phone and has been using it for two weeks now.
Pros: -The sound quality over headphones is by far the best I’ve ever heard from an Nseries, on par with the 5800., - The screen looks beautiful., - Widget homescreen is fantastic., - Touch screen is responsive for a resistive screen., - Call quality is very good as is signal reception., - Camera quali...
Cons: - Can be sluggish at times if you really multitask a lot., - Not happy about the mic placement., - Stereo speakers have been tuned for voices and not music playback and aren't as loud as the N95's., - The double tap isn't necessary everywhere, but is useful in certain menus., - Could have used mo...
Summary: I've used products from virtually every phone maker out there, including the iPhone, and Nokias entry into the high end touch screen market is impressive. Nokia's Symbian implementation has plenty of software available for it, with a significant focus on business and "productivity" (if cell phone...
Pros: This is by far the best Nokia phone that I've used so far. Excellent keyboard, good touch screen that works even when wearing gloves (try that with an iPhone)
Cons: Applications load slowly for the first time. With all that memory I wish there was a way to preload common apps so that they come up faster during normal use.
Excerpt: why bad phone make nokia? no good. screen damage easili. my phone break in one week. why, becasue phone make very bad. nokia dont put proper make in phone. they make phone like cheese. very soft can squish with hand.
Summary: I don't really see any reason other than price to not buy a Samsung i8910. It uses S60, with a few front end add ons, it has a larger screen and is AMOLED, which means better colors. It has twice the RAM, a dedicated GPU (same as the Iphone 3GS one) and a better processor (similar to palm pre/3gs).
Pros: The hardware keyboard is nice since many smartphones are moving to touch only. The screen is a good size, a bit narrower and longer than the iphone. Tons of storage, decent battery life.
Cons: There is a huge list of usability problems with this phone, but I won't bore you with several paragraphs and just summarise by saying Nokia really needs to do a significant overhaul of S60. I think they are planning that but I don't know where it places this phone, considering the phone has a slo...
