Nokia has a knack of producing fine multimedia phones. And on paper, the N96 has the form and function to give its peers a serious run for their money. Like its predecessor, the N95, this handset boasts a dual-sliding form factor. Slide the underneath of the handset one way to reveal a numerical keypad and the other to show off a control pad for the phone’s media player. The screen is just 2.8in but unlike many rivals it isn’t a touchscreen. However, don’t let this... Read more

The N96 has everything a gadgeteer could want, including vast amounts of memory, a good camera, great video playback quality and built-in GPS. But its build quality is a bit iffy and it's not as easy to use as the iPhone. Read more

Well, geeks - including us - are ordinary human beings, but in the case of Nokia N96 they'd been holding their breath since February. The time this multimedia monster picked to actually hit the shelves must have made quite a few people fear it being already outdated. Read more

On the whole we are impressed with the N96. It offers noteworthy upgrades to its forerunner, such as the DVB-H tuner (not usable in the States) and 16GB of internal memory with further expansion, and the design is also greatly refined. Running S60 Feature Pack 3 gives the N96 the flexibility to handle most anything the user throws at it. With an overall capacity of 28GB of memory (and theoretical capacity for 48GB) and a large screen it serves as a worthy PMP... Read more

So without further ado: Pros: *Same great camera as the N95 with 5-MP *Whopping memory!! Mine has 32GB right now; 16GB built in and then a memory card slot can be used *Video codec is superior to ANY phone I've used that results in great battery life with video playback (and music as well) *Clear...
