  2. Nokia N96

    29 April 2009

The Nokia N96 is a very solid phone. One of its best qualities is the TV tuner. The screen display is crisp and clear as well. The price may scare some off, but the Nokia N96 is well worth the price tag. Read more

Overall, the N96 is a very strong device that comes with a full complement of accessories, an excellent camera, all the connectivity options you could want, and a well-established operating system with a high level of extensibility. The only snag is its price, which will cause it to be appealing to those who want to avoid 2-year commitments at all costs and/or those who want an unlocked device to allow the most freedom to use a SIM card from any provider around the... The N96 has everything a gadgeteer could want, including vast amounts of memory, a good camera, great video playback quality and built-in GPS. But its build quality is a bit iffy and it's not as easy to use as the iPhone. Read more

We've already seen Nokia's new N96 up-close and unboxed , but if you're looking for a bit more information before your potential purchase, you may want to head over to All About Symbian, which has a few first impressions of the phone. Among other things, its contributor found the screen to be "great," even outdoors, and the overall build quality is described as "good," if a bit "plasticky." He also found the music quality to be especially good over Bluetooth/A2DP, and... Read more

Well, your reasons for saying the Nokia N96 is not good are not exactly reasons. I mean who cares about the touch screen? I have an iPhone and its filled with finger prints all over it, and sending text with the touch screen, how annoying it can be. No qwerty keyboard? It's not a PC I want!!! I want a MOBILE telephone.. I am thinking of buying this phone and it has amazing features which I have not used. But the feel of the phone is not nice, it feels like a brick. So I... Read more

I got mine out of the retention program of my mobile provider. I paid not even a single centavo to have this. Features are ok but the camera could have been better if it was equipped with a xenon flash. It was easy getting used to it especially if used to own a similar device like the N-95. Music is great but the downside is you to have a charger with you to make sure that you keep the phone running. Good thing that the charger that came with it is small and fast. The... Read more
