The N93 is an addition to Nokia’s N series. It comes in a swivel-type design and is quite bulky compared to most mobile phones out there. Its star attraction is the powerful 3.2-megapixel camera which performs stunningly as a camcorder. Users are provided with a ton of options here, namely the numerous shooting modes, image qualities and various advanced editing options. The camera also includes 3x optical and 8x digital zoom. Multimedia features widen with the audio and video players and a music library where users can categorize their music accordingly. Since the phone runs Symbian OS, basic PIM capabilities are also available along with QuickOffice, which allows editing of MS Office Documents. Corporate users should find the email support and integrated Wi-Fi pleasing.

The N93 is a rock-solid performer and most test results seem favorable. Firstly, the camera works extraordinarily well, producing professional images with almost no flaws. Digital Trends even say that this is probably the best camera ever seen on a phone. Videos look equally good, with the zoom just a tad quirky. Music and video playback is also respectable, with the included earphones compensating for a few problems with the inbuilt speakers. Call quality is satisfactory as some distortion and echo plague the calls but the volume is high enough to overcome minor complaints. Battery life is also impressive, and in some cases, surpasses the 5-hour talktime mark. Overall, the N93 is a highly recommended handset for anyone looking for the best-equipped phone in the market.
