Summary: Excluding it's lower speed HSPA (closest you can get to 4G without LTE) this device is very fast by cellular. Publicly available is a community driven update which I grabbed too early to comment on (my review would be flawed compared to others for CSSU -you can search for this and look for the word...
Five Stars If You're Brainy Enough To Tweak It. Three Otherwise.
21 March 2014
Summary: I was given the N900 phone two months ago after I repaired its screen and removed some valuable pictures, contacts, and files for a friend who had owned the phone since July, 2010. This is truly my favorite phone.
Summary: Great phone, but outdated now (otherwise it would have 5 stars). I've had my N900 for years, and I've loved it. The system lets you tweak and modify so much that you can really have a lot of fun with it.
Summary: Stopped workign after a month. touch screen sopped working, no button works... Seller said after 30days they don't have return policy. I contacted Nokia and they said this phone is not intended to be used or marketed in USA.
Summary: Surprisingly enough (as we have another N900 that worked OK for years) this one started developing issues with the touch screen about a week after we got it. In a month it got completely non-usable, to the point one can not even start it (by sliding finger on touch screen).
Summary: Seller was the worst part of the experience. The phone and OS are way behind even cheap comparables. The battery failed after 2 uses.....i could go on and on. Suffice to say look somewhere else for a good phone.
Summary: The item arrived on time that's a plus but I did not get an AV cable, neither the micro fiber cloth and it took me about 5 hours to charge my battery with the charger provided also the USB is terrible I have to adjust it a couple of times before it connects to a computer.
