Nice for a Geek or programmer, but not for everybody

Summary: Experimental phone with outstanding capacitites, i bought it for installing salisfish OS on it, because i cannot afford to buy a Jolla Smartphone. some standard applications get a hard time make them working on a n9, there is no office suite to install, the nokia store for meego OS. is frozen but still operative. I am still trying to install Sailfish, but guides to do so are somo confusing, so idecide to install it from a linux computer.
Excerpt: Loved this phone, it has amazing design, amazing UI, great ideas, it had a decent camera, but the problem with the MeeGo was that Microsoft killed it, there where just few apps out there, you had to go underground to find decent apps, mostly of those where paid, support ended to fast, and the camera was suppose to be better than the N8 but it was not
Pros: MeeGo! Loved it, great build quality
Cons: no support, fewer apps, camera was supposed to be better than the N8 but it was not
Summary: Magnificent phone, this OS is just great! It's a shame that Nokia stopped supporting it, it could have bright future. As for the looks, it's one of the best looking smartphones ever, it is just BEAUTIFUL!!!
Summary: I bought this phone after seeing some demos online and seeing the intuitive UI that it had. All you have to do is swipe, swipe to the left to put your app to side and multitask. Picked this up and started to learn within minutes, simple and designed for one handed operation. The UI was way ahead of it's time in execution, saw BB with a similar UI for their QNX OS BB OS ver. 10, a definite nod to Nokia's MAEMO OS for the N9.
Summary: I love this phone and used it for long time. It has some good apps and because the system is no longer supported it was time to move on to a Nokia Lumia. This is still a great phone to use while traveling to other countries and has a few apps you need to keep you happy. Great camera, Great GPS and maps.
Summary: This phone is still better than 95% of the phones on the market today. Even though, if you notice, the amount of unlocked phone choices have dropped by about 50%. Swipe is intuitive and I can't imagine not having it.
Summary: Had this phone for 2 months and so far am mostly pleased. If you are looking for something other than Apple or Android, you should definitely consider this one-of-a-kind Meego phone (if Symbian or BlackBerry is not your cup of tea). This is the original polycarbonate phone that all of the Lumias have followed.
