Summary: Do not buy from this vendor. Hassle Free Cell, Amazon nor Nokia will not stand behind this product. Do not purchase from any unauthorized dealer. BEWARE!! I learned my lesson the hard way . . . maybe I will be of some help to future consumers. I lost an inordinate amount of money and time trying to replace/repair this phone.
Summary: "Dreadful phone. Had to replace the first 2 as the phone speakers didn't work!! The 3rd phone stopped working as the cable between the screen and the main body snapped. The upgraded replaced cable broke within another 4 weeks! Have been a loyal Nokia customer for years... Not anymore. HTC here we come.. Really don't bother with the N86.
Summary: This was an amazing phone for 3 months. Then it stopped charging completely. We contacted Nokia, but they said that since they don't official market the Nokia 808 in the US that they would not honor the warranty. We then went to the seller. They told us to FedEx the phone to them and they would determine whether they would fix it, replace it, or do nothing. It's been two weeks since they received the phone and they haven't done anything. They won't return our messages.
Nice idea but crap phone. Wait to see when they fix the "bugs"

Summary: Well, what can I say, Nokia did it again. I don't mean to plagiarize Britney Spears but Nokia tends to release half-complete products and then issues updates later on. That's ok for most firms, but with the kind of problems this phone has, sorry, look to SonyEricsson. The major problems I had were . . . drum roll: the phone completely draining the battery with nothing running, losing a signal in an OPEN AREA!!!
Summary: 10 months after purchasing this phone I can report the following: - no synchronisation : the PC Suite software doesn't recognise the phone - no Contacts transfer: impossible to load contacts in any other way but to type them all into the phone. Have lost touch with a few people on account of this - memory bug: there is a memory bug with this phone (check Nokia Support).
Summary: I have cursed and swore at many inanimate objects in my time but none more so than this phone. I bought this phone as I wanted to avoid touch screens and have always been a fan of sliding handsets. When I saw the spec of this phone, memory, camera, email, GPS, music etc is sounded fantastic and indeed if all of these functions worked like they are supposed to it would indeed be a great phone.
Faulty charger socket - Nokia uninterested in repair

Summary: Initially I was impressed with this phone, plenty of memory, nice camera, lots of features. However after around 5 months of phone owenership, and coincientally happened when I started to charge the phone via the supplied USB cable as opposed to the mains charger (I had lost the mains charger), the charger connection failed.
Summary: I have always had a nokia phone. the N86 is agood camera.... butif it is a phone you are after look elsewhere. My N86 has been back to the service guys for at least 3 times since I got it 8 months ago and has been changed for a 'new' refurbished model. The first time I was there the sales assistant said it was the first 'N86' that they had back. The second time I collected my phone she was telling the person in the queue ahead of me that her N86 had a 'virus'.
El Nokia N86 me ha dado problemas desde el principio.

Summary: Hola a todos.
