Summary: "Dreadful phone. Had to replace the first 2 as the phone speakers didn't work!! The 3rd phone stopped working as the cable between the screen and the main body snapped. The upgraded replaced cable broke within another 4 weeks! Have been a loyal Nokia customer for years... Not anymore. HTC here we come.. Really don't bother with the N86.
Summary: I used amazon.com reveiws to help me to decide whether or not to buy this phone. I decided to buy it because I dont like the way apple ties you down,Im a photographer so I want a big camera in my phone, and it supports a whole bunch of stuff that apple doesnt. Ive had the phone for 3 months. None of the "bug" issues Ive read about are present. Camera usabillity and photo quality are simply outstanding and will not be matched for many years.
Summary: This was an amazing phone for 3 months. Then it stopped charging completely. We contacted Nokia, but they said that since they don't official market the Nokia 808 in the US that they would not honor the warranty. We then went to the seller. They told us to FedEx the phone to them and they would determine whether they would fix it, replace it, or do nothing. It's been two weeks since they received the phone and they haven't done anything. They won't return our messages.
Cons: The speaker broke three times and was eventually given a new phone which has had the same problem twice. This problem was clearly a design floor and all phones should be recalled. My phone has spent more time in for repairs than I have had to use the phon
Pros: pros- the 8mp camera and HQ video. the look the uhhhhhhhhh
Cons: cons. many... the keyboard barely functionable. i like small but this is cutting it tooo close. the still camera is terrible for zoomed shots all come out blurry. unless you have a tripod or use the little kickstand. the music player, very difficult
Nice idea but crap phone. Wait to see when they fix the "bugs"

Summary: Well, what can I say, Nokia did it again. I don't mean to plagiarize Britney Spears but Nokia tends to release half-complete products and then issues updates later on. That's ok for most firms, but with the kind of problems this phone has, sorry, look to SonyEricsson. The major problems I had were . . . drum roll: the phone completely draining the battery with nothing running, losing a signal in an OPEN AREA!!!
