If you’re a Symbian fan most likely the represents the best you can get. It is not without it’s flaws however, like the weak battery and the DVB-H tuner which is usable only in a few countries. The phone is very good but not perfect, and if you  find yourself wanting just a bit more then the N85 may be the phone for you. It is the first of Nokia’s N-series equipped with a power-saving OLED display. Read more

At first glance, the Nokia N85 looks like a compact version of the N96. Despite its smaller size, the N85 has a lot more going for it, including sturdier build quality, better battery life, and a slightly lower—but still considerable—$492 price tag (for the unlocked version). Read more

The good thing Nokia N85 does is take (almost) all the Nseries have delivered to date and put it in a neat and tasteful package. There are no groundbreaking novelties but what you get is quite worth it. And the display… well you do need to see it. Nokia N85 didn't hit the market so bitterly overpriced as the N96. Nor was the wait so hyped - instead it almost instantly felt right where it belongs. Read more

Now, to sum up the Nokia N85 mobile phone, we at mobilefonereviews.co.uk really are excited about this handset and believe it is going to be a massive hit when it hits the market. It’s stylish and very cool and has technology oozing from it like no other, except for the N79 . It will definitely keep any owner of this marvellous handset amused, entertained and occupied endlessly with which ever feature or function that is being used. Well done Nokia. Read more

The N85 is a very likeable, feature-packed handset. It may not break the N-series mould, but it provides most of the N96’s gadgetry ground in a smaller - if still not tiny - package. Its performance is right on the money too, and you certainly get plenty for your cash. If you’re looking for a high-quality multi-tasking mobile, the N85 is a smart choice. Read more

H ere’s yet another generic looking cross-between-N81-and-N96 handset from Nokia that’s been designed to be part of their gaming range. The N85 gives the impression that it’s a very capable handset on all fronts with features galore, but allow me to give you a better idea. Form Factor The N85 dual slider may be a bit generic in design for Nokia but it still manages to pull off a chic look and feel. It’s quite sleek and sexy to be more accurate. Read more

This is actually a cute phone, however ... It didn't even last for a year. Somebody warned me that this phone is fragile but who would have thought that it was waaaay too fragile. The screen just got messed up all of a sudden without any reason -- you can't see anything but 2 different colors as if it was cracked or something. I never dropped the phone to begin with. My older Nokia Series and other units ... ? Just put a new battery in, they're still working properly. Read more

I waited and wanted this phone, but was disappointed when I got it. I bought the phone from Nokia mainly for the 5 meg camera, stereo speaker and the FM transmitter. Awful picture and video and very poor FM transmitter. I had to put it very close to the antenna for OK reception. I wanted to like it as the N95 and N82, but it was impossible. I have decided to wait until Nokia has something good to offer. Most the new phone are not as good. Read more
