Nokia N800 Internet Tablet is an internet appliance that was made available in January 2007. The N800 was developed for users who are always on the go and need a wireless Internet and email functions. It uses an Internet Tablet OS 2007 or Maemo 3.2 operating system. N800 is also upgradeable to the Internet Tablet 2008. It has a 256 MB flash memory and a 128 MB RAM and also has two more slots that can support miniSD, microSD and Multimedia memory cards that can take up to 2GB of memory, giving the user a lot of space for photos, music and videos. It can also support numerous internet applications.

Features

The 3 pound N800 has a 4.1 inch, 800 x 480 pixels at 65K touchscreen display. Its connectivity options are Wi-fi, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth. Web access is done through the N800’s Opera web browser that provides Adobe Flash 7 making internet access same as accessing it through a desktop computer. Functionality is N800’s motto, internet access can be done anywhere and anytime, so users can view all their favorite sites, check emails, access Skype and enjoy instant messaging. It has a stand by time of 10 days and 3 hours active time.

    We keep calling it an Internet Tablet like Nokia tells us to, hoping that makes it true. You know what we mean: pop-out keyboard, 3G data, other fancy stuff. All the same, there's definitely a lot to love about Nokia's N800 followup to the 770 , including that peppier 330MHz Texas Instruments processor and built-in webcam. The update brings Skype client support, Flash 9 browser support, 8GB memory card suport, and "remarkably longer" battery performance when surfing bits over wireless.
