Excerpt: If you live or travel in areas with less than optimal cell signals, you might want to consider another phone. This unlocked phone is currently being used on T-Mobile service in a suburban area that has 4G LTE. Whatever the cause, the signal strength varies in this area. We have been using a T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 635 for several months, which reliably connects with good download speeds at 4G LTE throughout most of the region.
Summary: This product came with the original box, but already had already been programmed in a Asian language, and had somebodies profile and contacts on the phone. So it needed to be restarted to clear off the previous user's info. Also in the box was a "type G" to "Type A" adapter for the Nokia Charger. I will say, that the screen is clear, and it is wrapped in cellophane nicely.
Summary: Great Phone+++++ loved it until it said no sim...... replaced sim and same thing....600.00 for a phone that lasted 8 months:( and of course seller has a big no warranty since international version
... would rate the product 5 stars but I don't like the service

Summary: I would rate the product 5 stars but I don't like the service. It was stolen in shipping. I spent a long time saving up for this and now my money is gone and I don't have a phone. This was going to be my first phone. I just hope that the manufactures will make sure to pay for this. Now I can't take pictures of my time in Europe and all summer long. Plus the beginning of high school I won't have it.
Summary: I did not receive the product as advertised. I received the international model that is not LTE capable in the US. It is however wireless charging capable. I chose to keep the device, but I am unhappy with the product. The quality of the phone is good. The screen is great, but cannot seem to compare apples to windows... I took the plunge and purchased the device knowing that it may never compare, but its not even close.
Summary: I reviewed this phone earlier giving high praise but be warned: You must know which version you're buying. It is a really nice phone but unlocked versions come in RM937 and RM938 aka 1520.3. The big difference is LTE bands. This is the 937 being sold. You basically won't get LTE in the western part of the world with it. Do your research!!
Summary: The phone itself is very sturdy and feels great in your hands. Windows Phone 8 seems at first like an upgrade but there are differences that don't' make it over from 7. One feature that isn't available that I used consistently on 7 is the speak to text option. It was a button right next to the send message, attach file icons on a conversation and it allowed for a better hands free texting option while driving than actually texting.
Awesome device but lack of apps is very frustrating.
11 January 2014
Summary: Nokia knocked it out of the park with the 1520. If you plan to use this device for calls, IM, taking pics and watching movies, it's a great device. The screen is brilliant and the camera is amazing. However, the small number of USABLE apps is extremely frustrating. Very limited compared to Apple or Android. Vast majority of the apps available are very poor copies of similar apps available for IOS or Android devices.
Pros: 6"inch full HD screen. Will take your breath away., 20 mega pixel camera using double flash. Awesome photos., Essentially a small tablet.
Cons: Apps. Apps. Apps......or rather the lack of them., VERY limited number of Apps. The claim is that 175K apps are available. The true number of USABLE apps is FAR less than that. Most apps are really bad copies of IOS and Android apps.
