Nokia Lumia 1320

Channel5
4 October 2014
  • Summary: The Nokia Lumia 1320’s the best value big-screened Windows Phone around, no question - and unless you really need a top notch camera, it’s better value for money than the 1520 too.

Nokia Lumia 1320

  • Summary: Very few phones can pull of these specs in this size for this price, so the Lumia 1320 is definitely a phone worth purchasing if you like big phones or phablets and you like what the Lumia 1520 had to offer but thought it was too expensive.
  • Pros: Colorful and practical design, decent display and reasonable price.
  • Cons: Physically large and average performance.

  • Conclusion: For AED 1299, the Nokia Lumia 1320 delivers big screen functionality at a decent price. It may not perform as well as the 1520, but keep in mind that you’re paying about half the price.

Nokia Lumia 1320 – Review

Review guidelines
4 April 2014
  • Summary: The Nokia Lumia 1320 is one of the first attempts by Nokia to go into the field of phablet, along with the Lumia in 1520, but while the latter offers a very technical performance, the Lumia does not do so in 1320 offering a medium quality hardware, perhaps not enough to push a phone of this size.
  • Pros: Dual camera, NFC module, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, Corning Gorilla Glass, Full HD movies, 4G LTE technology.
  • Cons: Display resolution is not adequate to greatness, Lack of RAM, Dual-Core Processor, No NFC module.

Nokia Lumia 1320

  • Summary: This is the cheapest phablet we've seen to date, and that in itself means that the Lumia 1320 should win some fans. Although it's bulkier and less powerful than rival phablets, it does give you a lot for your money and that big 6 inch screen will be a real draw for many.

Review Nokia Lumia 1320 Smartphone

Notebookcheck
10 March 2014
  • Summary: A fresh phablet. Pursuing the Lumia 1520, Nokia sends another 6-inch phablet featuring HD resolution and Windows Phone 8 into the race, called the Lumia 1320. Its power and configuration are no match for the premium model, but it is nevertheless a strong smartphone.
  • Pros: High-quality build, Good screen, Very good localization, Wireless module w/ LTE support, Decent camera, Outstanding phone sound, Long battery runtimes, Microsoft Office pre-loaded, The Lumia 1320's bright screen that remains legible even in direct sunlight. The phablet's excellent build.
  • Cons: Screen's resolution of only 1280 x 720 pixels, Small internal storage, Difficult to use with one hand only, Little performance reserves, Limited offer of apps in the Windows Store by comparison, The Lumia 1320 would be better prepared for the future with a slightly stronger SoC. The performance i...

20 February 2014
  • Excerpt: Nokia's most recent flagships have done little but impress, but can they still balance a great experience in a more affordable package? The Nokia Lumia 1320 helps us decide. If the large-screened Nokia Lumia 1520 is a phablet take on the Lumia 1020 , the 1320 is a phablet take on the Lumia 625 and...

  • Conclusion: As much as one may try to twist facts, there's no denying – the Nokia Lumia 1320 is a mid-range offering. On a positive note, the 6-inch phablet is sturdily-crafted and has a polished look.
  • Pros: Great battery life, Call quality is top notch, Video capture is decent, The dual-core chip handles the 1320 just fine-tuning
  • Cons: It's seriously heavy, This is a very large device, even in its class, Both the earpiece and speaker grill are easily muffled, The camera offers middling performance

The Gadget Show
20 November 2014
  • Summary: The basics Finnish phone giant Nokia has dabbled in the phablet form factor with its latest leading Lumia 1520, and now it’s trying the same six-inch size on its much more affordable Lumia 1320.
  • Pros: We’ve got to hand it to Nokia, as ever since it debuted the Lumia 800, we’ve been continuously treated to top-notch phones armed with sleek polycarbonate shells ever since, and that trend continues with the 1320. It’s a big and solid handset that’s equally palm-friendly thanks to its slightly rou...
  • Cons: We actually can’t fault the Lumia 1320’s hardware much: its five-megapixel camera is merely pedestrian, and it only comes with 8GB of storage (thankfully upgradable with a microSD card) but that’s about it. Otherwise, Nokia has taken few shortcuts to make this affordable phablet: it still packs 4...
