"Switching off 7 times a day... may be good when works"
12 August 2009
Pros: Nice design, small, easy to use menu
Cons: Battery last only half a day and the phone got frozen 6-7 times a day. I have to take out the battery to switch it on again. I use it only for 3 weeks, but the back cover is already loose from the continous need to remove it.
Summary: Worst phone I've had. Worse than the G900! Freezes shitty build quality, the plastic frame at the bottom falls off poor sound quality freezes again poor battery life connection to exchange stops working without warning poor camera that takes purple card poor media player does not support playlists, repeat, etc..
Summary: I was going to write a long story about previous phones and my decision to buy this model but I really cant be bothered. I've had this handset for around six months now and of those six months it has probably spent 3 months working and 3 months being worked on by Nokia/ Carphone warehouse. I admit I may well be an isolated incident/one off bad handset. But in my opinion, this phone is fragile and consists of too much plastic.
Summary: The phone does everything the manufacturer claims but it has one Achilles heel. It is completely rubbish unless you are in a really strong signal area. My old nokia E51 works pretty well at my desk and at my home. When moving the sim to the E75 I have to move around the building just to get 1 bar and I can never complete a call with it. I have since found other reviewers who report the same issue so I am pretty sure it's not just a faulty unit.
Conclusion: Had a few of these at work for 3 mths - All had to be returned. Software is poor, set up is complicated but even when the IT guys managed that the crash out all the time. Cant make phone calls whilst receiving emails or texts or the phone disconnects.
Conclusion: Had many Nokia phones over the years and always been a big fan.Just bought Nokia E 75 and easy to see why nokia are losing market share to competitors. Does not want to sync to work e mail through MS Exchange server despite attempt by IT Dept over many hours to get it to work. Bluetooth only works when it fancies it. Very disappointed with phone and software all round. Come on Nokia you can do better!!
Conclusion: E75 big fat FAIL for Google services. The hardware is beautiful, but the software stinks if all you want to do is synchronise Nokia's most advanced messaging phone to date with Google's email, contacts and calendar.
