QWERTY Keyboard, Nokia OS Belle - E7-00 Almost the End of an Era
13 October 2013
Summary: This full QWERTY keyboard phone was released in November, 2011. The ARM processor runs at less than 700MHz, slower than almost all smartphones available new today. So, why get or use this? 1 - The Nokia Belle OS makes good use of the meager resources. 2 - The physical QWERTY keyboard is easy to use, a good size. 3 - Solid construction 4 - Symbian screen resolution uses less power than HD displays. The battery lasts longer but you scroll around a bit more.
Summary: Let's start off with the good things. 1. The flip keyboard is awesome. 2. It has an HDMI cable. 3. LOTS of space. 4. Good for business. 5. VERY good battery. NOW the bad things. 1. For me, it has a terrible camera. Front and Back. 2. It doesn't really have much appliances. 3. It freezes up sometimes. 4. It is very hard to change and find settings. 5. You can't have a password on there.
Summary: I am a long time Nokia fan and a anti-Iphone person. I love everything about this phone except the really bad battery life. I am always keeping chargers around to make sure it does not go dead on me. My previous phones,C6-01, E51 and several of the older models, never had this kind of problem. I was always online, calling, sending messages with attachments, toggling to my laptop, and never had to worry about the battery going dead.
Summary: First of all a phone should be a phone and be perfect for the purpose, but the very poor signal strenght really doesn't help. Then we can talk about its gorgeous looking, the pleasant texture and the resistance of its aluminium shell, the variety of colors, the many useful features and downloadabe applications, etc. I was a fan of Nokia and in love this phone before buying it, but I think I can change my mind.
Summary: Hello, i bought my nokia e7-00 in june 2011 and today i discover that the battery donot maintain it's charge. After charging for several hours it keeps telling me low battery. Can someone please tell me what i can do.
Excerpt: the specifications of e7 & it's looks tend to give an appearance of an amazing phone that would fit the needs of both business users & the multimedia freaks,,, but the reality is far different the built quality & looks of the set are no doubt awesome so is the call quality & signal reception,,, but when it comes to every day usage it's then that one really feels like kicking himself for owing this set slippery body as a result of which there is always the fear of the set...
Pros: built quality, call quality, looks, excellent recording, powerful multimedia
Cons: slippery body, slow interface, camera, fixed battery cover, tends to hang, no memory card slot
Very nice gadget except for the language and warranty
15 December 2011
Summary: The phone is all I expected except for the language: the manual an warranty came in polish and the pre-configured language is also polish. When I fisrt tuned it on, it gave me the option to configure it in several eastern Europe languages and english. I called the manufacturer and was informed that this phone is the eastern Europe version, as I suspected, and has no US warranty as advertised. Aside of this, everything works ok.
Marvelous hardware, but the software has too many limitations and problems
4 September 2011
Summary: Context: I use my phone heavily for voice, contacts, e-mail, calendar, Web browsing, navigation, Office documents, and PDFs, roughly in that order. I do not use Facebook, Twitter, or generic text messaging. My contacts and calendar come from Outlook, and it's vital that all the detail kept by Outlook for calendar and contacts items be shown on my phone. I strongly want a physical keyboard, but also like a big touch screen.
Hardware exceptionally good, software is a problem

Summary: This phone is a best looking phone on the market right now. I was so excited to get the phone and I set it up similarly to my N8, which I decided to keep as a backup. The hardware on this phone is exceptional - better than any phone I've had before and it puts the iPhone to shame in terms of its looks, beautiful flip up screen and amazing keyboard which is so easy to use, but the O/S on this phone is not nearly as smooth or user friendly as it should be.
