The Nokia E52 is a GSM 850/900/1800/1900/WCDMA 850/2100 network mobile phone designed in a block form factor that measures 116x49x10mm and weighs 98g. The phone runs the Symbian OS v9.3 operating system and supports an internal antenna, a 5-way navigational keypad, and is powered by a 1500 mAh Li-Ion that provides up to 8-hours of talk time, and 672-hours of standby time. The Nokia E52 supports a 60.0MB of internal memory with expandability via a microSD/TransFlash. The phone has a 16.7 million TFT screen with 240x320 resolutions. It also features a 3.2-megapixel camera with flash, 4x zoom, red-eye reduction, landscape shots, self-timer, supports video call and has the capability to record videos. The phone also supports an MP3 Player that plays MP3/AAC/AAC+/eAAC+/WAV file format. The MP3 player has Stereo Widening and is linked with the Nokia Music Store. The E52 also has an FM Radio with RDS, speakerphone and Push-To-Talk function. Users can customize the phone’s look through 240 x 320 pixel wallpapers and screensavers, as well as themes and MP3 ringtones. The phone supports J2ME / N-Gage games, multimedia streaming, SMS/EMS/MMS/Email (POP3/IMAP4/SMTP/Mail for Exchange protocol) and allow users to chat via Windows Live/Yahoo! The phone also has T9 Predictive Text, Calendar, To-Do List, WAP 2.0 (HTML/Mini Map/Nokia Mobile Search), Voice Commands and Calculator. Connectivity on the E52 is via Bluetooth 2.0 (A2DP/AVRCP/DUN/HFP/HSP/OPP/SPP), HSDPA data transfer, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/UPnP, Nokia Maps 3.0 with GPS and USB 2.0 (Intellisync/ActiveSync) for PC synchronization.

Features

The Nokia E52 is a smartphone with 2.4-inch display that allows users to compose their shots before taking it with the 3.2-megapixel camera, with re-orientation of shot to landscape via the accelerometer. The camera also allows for video calls, combined with noise-cancellation technology that lets users stay in contact with friends and family. The phone also comes with 'Call Connect' to hook the handset up to corporate phone systems for call routing to one number and one voicemail. The E52 integrates personal and work email via Nokia Messaging, Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveller, and includes high-speed Internet using HSPDA/HUSPA, Wi-Fi connectivity and A-GPS with Nokia Maps. The phone also features turn-by-turn voice-guided navigation in car or on foot, Ovi services include push-email and IM with Nokia Messaging, N-gage games, and the ability to geo-tag and share photos; social networking supports easy access to Ovi, Windows Live!, Yahoo IM, Facebook, YouTube and 3G, HSDPA/HSUPA and WLAN internet connectivity.

    I feel the sound is not so high while using the headsets.. I need to listen to loud music in it. If any third party MP3 player is advisable for E52, so please let me know...

  • Phone switched off and not able to ON it again.

    I charge NokiaE52 completly and just by mistake kept it infront of AirCondition for 10 minutes. After that I found My phone discharge cmpletly and automatically get switched off when I tried to ON it again I was not able to do it,So I kep my phone again on charging but still my phone was in switched off mode.

  • e52 vs e71

    i'm thinking of getting either the E52 or the E71. which is better in terms of functions and performance?

    function and perfromance the e52 BUT the build quality is appaulling the e71 is solid and well built The e52 is very very fragile don't drop one as it'll fall to bits and don't press the keys too hard they
