Nokia C2-03 review: Twice the phone

GSM Arena
23 September 2011
  • Conclusion: Going for simplicity and affordability, the Nokia C2-03 is good at the basics. It's a dual-SIM by trade and Touch and type by name. A curious combination, whose success is by no means guaranteed. The C2-03 uses two tested recipes but the meal is not for traditional eaters. A S40-powered feature phone, the C2-03 stays within budget. Familiarity is its main advantage. Yes, it's a cut above the typical entry-level handset but not in an arrogant way.
  • Pros: Dual-SIM, dual-standby phone, Dual-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, 2.6" 256K-color resistive TFT QVGA touchscreen, S40 6th edition, 2 megapixel fixed-focus camera, QCIF video recording at 15fps, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Visual radio, Bluetooth v2.1 (with A2DP), Standard microUSB port, microSD card slot (32 GB supported, 2GB included), 3.5mm audio jack, Extra smooth and precise haptic feedback, Attractive price
  • Cons: No Wi-Fi, Camera is poor, QCIF video recording would be better off missing, Doesn’t charge off USB, No screen brightness control, No document viewer, No smart dialing, No accelerometer sensor, No multitasking

Nokia C2-03 Review

Phone Arena
20 September 2011
  • Conclusion: All in all, the Nokia C2-03 stands out with nothing but its ability to handle two SIM cards at the same time. That factor aside, the phone has a few drawbacks that makes us suggest looking for an alternative before buying it. Its keypad, for example is rather uncomfortable, unless your fingers are small enough, and its Internet browser is practically unusable.
  • Pros: Works with 2 SIM cards simultaneously, Good in-call sound quality
  • Cons: Nokia Browser is unusable, Poor camera and multimedia features, Keypad is rather small

Nokia C2-03 Review

Tech2
10 May 2011
  • Summary: The Nokia C2-03 touch and type slider phone is currently priced at Rs. 4,500. The most important aspects for phones in this category are messaging, camera and music. The keypad and camera are sub-par but the phone doesn’t disappoint as far as music is concerned. For alternatives, the Micromax Van Gogh can be a cheaper option. For those not wanting to discount the touch experience, the Nokia X3-02 (which is a little more expensive) will offer much more as well.

  • Summary: Dual SIM looker! The latest in Nokia’s dual-SIM armada, the Nokia C2-03 can be considered a smart and stylish device in appearance. The phone comes in two colour options – white and gold, and black and steel grey. Both look striking, but we would recommend the black for rough users, as the white one does get dirty very easily. The phone supports two GSM network and has an easily swappable SIM slot.
