The Nokia C2-01 is a mobile phone designed in a 109.6 x 46.9 x 14.6 mm form factor that weighs 89 g and features a 2" 320 x 240 pixels resolution display. The phone also features a five-way Navi™ key, ITU-T keypad, call and end keys and is available in black or warm silver color options. Users can personalize their phone’s home screen with widgets, themes, icons, shortcuts and menu, or choose different profiles depending on their mood and desires. The phone also supports mp3, AAC, eAAC+, eAAC+, WMA and 64-tone polyphonic ringtones, video ringtones, and themes. It is powered by a 1020 mAh Li-Ion battery that provides users with up to 8 hours and 45 minutes of talk time (GSM, 4 hours and 30 minutes for WCDMA), and up to 430 hours (GSM)/450 hours (WCDMA) of standby time.

The Nokia C2-01 is a mobile phone that supports WCDMA 850/1900/2100 and 900/1900/2100; GSM 850/1900/2100 and 900/1900/2100 network band width, and sports a 75 MB (plus 15 MB for phonebook) internal memory with expandability via a MicroSD memory card slot which is hot swappable, up to 16 GB. The phone comes with applications such as Converter 2, size converter, Web Search function, a countdown timer, stopwatch, world clock, Ovi Store, Windows Live via Ovi Store, Opera mini browser, Nokia Messaging 2.0, Flickr, Facebook, Cherry 2.1 Lite, Chinese Dictionary and Ovi Life Tools (only in relevant markets). It supports Nokia Messaging Service 2.0 email messaging function, Unified MMS/SMS editor and Instant messaging through Ovi Chat. The phone also has a full web browsing of real web pages, as well as Opera Mini browser which optimizes web page rending for mobile devices. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera with extended depth of focus (EDOF), up to 4x (digital) zoom and full focus capability. The camera can also capture videos in QCIF at up to 15 fps, and has settings for white balance and color tone effect.
