Summary: This phone is a legend, even now, but unfortunately had to carry a copy of the acquired repaired in a week, unnecessarily broke opener phone (Refurbished item to come off the body). Third of the cost had to pay for the repairs, but if it does not take into consideration the phone perfectly. though not titanium case and just painted metal.
Summary: Ok, here we go, here's the quote from the description: "A key distinctive design element in the Nokia 8910 is its attractive titanium casing." It's not metal, it's plastic! I'm so disappointed! If I could change my feedback, I would leave a negative one! Anyway, the key feature of this phone for me was it's housing msde of metal!. I can buy 1202 not the 8910 to get a cheap s**tty phone!
Summary: Well this is a very cool phone. That's why I bought it. Only problem is if you want it you will get a used one, if you want it to be made in Finland. I don't know what is the quality of those Chinese ones. But I will have to buy Chinese casing which is made from aluminium because original titanium one costs too much, more then the whole phone on e-bay. The phone itself has functions you need, and does it well. Other then that don't expect!
Excerpt: This was by far the best Nokia phone I have had, including the N95 I have now. Having a PDA meant I didn't need any gizmos on my phone, so the 8910i did the job perfect for me. One of the best phones you could lay your hands on, it felt really well made, slid open beautifully. OK screen may have been a bit small, but for general calls and texting it was fine. As a side line it was almost nearly indestructable!
Summary: Great phone I've had the phone for 18 months and no problems, yes it doesn't do what all the new mobiles do but it looks good and people still look at it when you answer calls. I even still have people asking me if I want to sell it.
Excerpt: This phone looks great and has a classy feel to it. The probems with the phone though are the slide section on the phone is very prone to breaking and unfortunatly is very expensive to get repaired!! £75-£150!!! If you want a exclusive looking phone, you will be better off with the NEW Nokia 8800, better functions and still very exclusive.
Excerpt: I love Nokias, they are simple to use, compact and good looking. My father in law is a taxi driver and upon his return after a saturday nights work, he found one of these in the back of his cab. He contacted the police who told him to keep hold of the phone for 3 months incase anyone came foward for it. No one did so I claimed it for myself.
Excerpt: When my bloke bought this phone around a month ago, my initial thought was “£400 for a mobile phone?? Are you daft??” However, as soon as the phone slipped out of its box, I understood why. The way this phone has been styled is amazing. The black casing makes it look sleek and sophisticated and I love the smart slide down cover. You operate this by pressing the two buttons on either side of the casing.
