Excerpt: Let's admit it, most of the people who bought this phone, were fans of The Matrix. I was one of them. Back then, the idea of the click&release mic-incorporated-cover was almost science-fiction, highly envied by bland-motorola owners. This model was one to show off, you just couldn't wait till it started ringing in a public place and you just pull it out of your banana-shaped pocket, click the magic button and WOAH people stare at you while you pretend it is nothing...
Excerpt: The Nokia 8146 is a veritable antique in handset terms but a great many are still in use and more are probably lingering in the back of drawers or cupboards having been replaced by the next new thing. I have used a Nokia 8146 on the One2One network for the last two years. I inherited it when I moved into my current post and have not, yet, seen any reason to replace it. I have been a regular (not to say, heavy) business user of mobiles for the past 9 years.
Excerpt: Why oh why did Nokia change the design for the 7110, we all know that the 8146 is the orignal Matirix phone with just a click release,(just look at the movie). Although the 7110 sports some great games and features it's just an ugly looking phone. the 8146 or rather the Banana phone is so durable I still see people using them today and they still look good and up to date. Where as the 7110 looks dated already.
Pros: Looks good, and very durable, no known faults
Excerpt: I have has the Nokia 8146 for well over two years now, and am just thinking about upgrading (although One2One has no decent phones available - I wanna 8850!!). The range of features on the 8146 is unparalleled, and has not been repeated since on any other phone - for example there is a separate menu for SMS confirmation messages, which delete thatmselves automatically after you read them (or you switch the phone off), also you can have a different ring tone for 16...
Excerpt: I've had the Nokia 8146 banana phone for over two years on the one2one network, and its still going strong. Originally bought due to its curvaceous figure and the fact that it was at the time a top of the range model, it is still a favourite of mine. Although I now have a Nokia 3210 as well, I much prefer using the 8146, despite its lack of features over the 3210.
Pros: Easy to use, fun to use, and definitely a head - turner .
Cons: Not as many features as the latest phones, battery talktime could be a bit better .

Excerpt: I bought this phone because it was cheap, as they no longer really supply them anymore. Despite it's age it's a top of the range phone so it was a bargain for me. I bought it to use along with a Virgin Mobile prepay sim card. The phone itself is banana shaped, with an external aerial. The screen is a nice size, and it features an active sliding cover.
Pros: Cheap, good build quality, reliable signal
Cons: Lack of new features, low 'pose' factor compared to new phones
Summary: nokia 8xxx serisinin ilk telefonu olan 8110 modeli 1996 yılında piyasa duyurulmuştur.o günlerde bu telefonu almak bir şahin parasını gözden çıkarmak gibiydi.hey gidi günler.kendine özgü stili ile,kızaklı kapağı sayesinde hem tuş kısmını koruması hemde daha küçük boyuta inmesini sağladı. kapağı aşağı kaydırdığınızda aynı zamanda gelen çağrıyı cevaplamış oluyordunuz. başlangıç fiyatı 1000 euro olarak (yaklaşık 2700 türk lirası) piyasada kendini gösterdi.
