Summary: The Nokia 7210 Supernova is colourful and thin, but its low-end features, flimsy feel and poor-quality photos and video prevent it from floating our boat. If it were cheaper, it would be a good backup phone that you wouldn't mind losing on a night out.
Excerpt: Excellent communication qualities and impressive design – this is all that is required from a mobile phone. If you think so, then you should pay attention to the Nokia 7210 Supernova. This is a very convenient pocket-size phone. Its thickness is 10.6 mm and it weighs less than 70 grams. The striking appearance of Nokia 7210 Supernova attracts primarily young people. Moreover, Nokia 7210 is not expensive to buy.
Summary: The 7210 Supernova isn’t a particularly loud phone, but it doesn’t differ from the Nokia 5310 on this front in any significant way - in many situations you will find its alert volume insufficient, which is our main gripe with this phone. In terms of reception quality it does just fine; the vibro alert is average strength-wise, but it won’t let you down.
The Nokia 5310 entered the market last October at the price point of 180 Euro.
Excerpt: Nokia's Supernova series continues to grow each year with various handsets usually targeting people looking for a stylish mid-budget mobile phone. The series already features five models, but other Supernovas are in the making, which will probably be seen on the market this year. While not the latest launched, Nokia 7210 can be considered one of the highlights of the series because of its design and price.
Pros: The form factor and the design are definitely the strong points of the device. I could also enlist here the low price for such a good looking and slim phone. The fact that it supports 8GB microSD cards is a nice addition. The rest of its features are average to low, so I cannot add anything else.
Cons: The main drawbacks of the phone are the keypad and camera module. Both perform badly, to the point of driving the user mad. The screen and the battery can also be listed as negative points.
Summary: The phone is comparable in connection quality to the other phones from Nokia.
In my opinion it is very good. The phone has a live and loud sound, sometimes
even too loud, so that you should reduce the volume. The phone also can work in
a handsfree mode, in this case the volume in the dynamic is not too high. It's
impossible to use it in noisy places.
The phone has a 4-tones polyphonic ring and supports up to 43 musical instruments.
Summary: As the entry level model in its Supernova range, the 7210 was designed to be a simple, fun model with funky styling appealing to fans of fashion on a budget. The 7210 Supernova is rather swamped by cheap feeling plastics but there are a wide range of colours available while bright accents which add some swagger and the strong flat keys and solid four way rocker is vintage Nokia.
