Nokia 6700 slide: No-Frills Or No Good? I'll Let You Deslide
18 February 2011
Summary: When one thinks of possibly the most annoying, unreliable, poorly developed and yet unfortunately essential assets to life these days, one probably thinks of the mobile phone. Whatever your brand and model of preference is, like your local football team, they'll bring out a new strip every season, and within a few months of buying you'll be utterly out of date with your neighbour, who of course, happens to have just purchased the upgrade to yours.
Pros: Carries out the basics quite well; decent finish, good screen, good battery life/charge times
Conclusion: I got this 2 days ago it went straight back it was really slow and all the software needed updates on it the operating speed was really slow the internet and 3.5g connection was poor i wouldnt recommend this to anyone
Excerpt: "I was looking forward to using my good looking purple phone, especially after reading positive reviews, but have found that although it feels good in the hand, the screen size and the inability to increase the size of the fonts and icons sufficiently has meant I am about to change it for a different make. Setting the size of the font to large still gives a very small sized font, especially when writing text messages and trying to read information ...
Pros: attractive phone and easy to use the features . Keyboard very clear and good camera and apps
Cons: Font size too small, even when setting is large . Poor sound and limited contact details
Conclusion: Had the 6700 slide for a week now, dosent compaire with my old 6500 slide - its cheaply made, poor sound play back quality, garbage sound through the garbage headphones. When txing you have to go throught your names, unlike the 6500 there was a `recently used` list which made things a whole lot easier. Nokia is going downhill for me. Better going back to qualty and less hype.
