The Nokia 6700 slide is a GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 / HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100 (HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 - American version) mobile phone that is designed in a 95.2 x 46.1 x 15.9 mm/110 g form factor that sports a 2.2 inch TFT, 16M colors (240 x 320 pixels) display. The handset features alert types such as vibration, downloadable polyphonic and MP3 ringtones and stereo speakerphone with a 2.5 mm audio jack. Other features on the 6700 slide also features a phone book with photocall, up to 30 days of call records, 45MB internal memory with expandability via microSD card up to 16GB (2GB included), GPRS Class 32/HSCSD/EDGE Class 32, 296 / 177.6 kbits/HSDPA, 10.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 2 Mbps data transfer rates and Bluetooth® v2.1 with A2DP. The Nokia 6700 slide also features USB v2.0 microUSB connectivity, a 5 MP, 2592x1944 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording capabilities (at VGA@15fps), a secondary QCIF videocall camera, and Symbian OS v9.3, S60 rel. 3.2 operating system. It comes in color options of aluminum, Pink, Petrol-blue, Red, Lime, or Purple. The Nokia 6700 slide is powered by a standard Li-Ion 860 mAh battery that provides up to 300 h (2G) / Up to 250 h (3G) of standby time and up to 4 h (2G) / Up to 3 h (3G) of talktime. It provides users with up to 29 hours of music playback time.

The Nokia 6700 slide is a mobile phone targeted for the design-conscious consumer and optimized for socializing and sharing with contacts. Available in the first quarter of 2010, the 6700 slide comes in a choice of six colors - pink, red, petrol blue, aluminum, lime and purple. Its compact size and aluminum finish features a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics that provides users with the means to capture and share moments as they happen with friends and family. Images can be edited on the go and uploaded to the web directly from the camera menu via the device’s high speed 3G connectivity. Other features include Java MIDP 2.1 with Nokia Maps, a WMV/RV/MP4/3GP video player, an MP3/WMA/WAV/RA/AAC/M4A music player, Organizer, Flash Lite 3.0 and voice memo. The phone supports SMS, MMS, Email function, WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML browser, stereo FM radio and games.
