Summary: I was excited to see this product as I have been wanting to replace my current phone with a similar model, having a camera is important to me. The phone arrived and didnt have a camera or video capability, the model was advertised incorrectly and no such phone is available. I needed to keep the phone so have had to make do with a $30 credit. Whilst this is a nice gesture I would have liked an upgrade on the phone to give me what was advertised.
Summary: I had this phone for about two years and had never let me down once. Clear reception/sound, good color display, easy to use digital camera and quite sleek and light weight. For this price, is the best value you can buy.
Excerpt: Its a wonderful handset and it used the features give a good value for money. The data sync feature with the PC Suite is the best so far as it auto syncs the data end of the day./.. The Camera resolution is a little blurred if u shake while clicking..else its a good bet.
Excerpt: I've owned a Nokia 8260 and 8265 and the Samsung S200 and E105. From my experience, Nokia phones tend to have the best reception. A lot of people blame the cell phone service but much of the time it's their phones. I bought the 6610 in the age when all the new phones have cameras and bluetooth but all I want is good reception. I'm not willing to sacrifice that for the fancy crap. I'd rather buy a cheaper phone and buy a seperate digital camera which I did.
Excerpt: It's a good phone or it was a good phone until newer models from different companies came out with bluetooth, mp3 player, and an expansion slots. These are the major cons about 6610i. If you just want to own a nokia and don't care about the futures I just mentioned (kinda like, I just need a good phone with a camera, that's it) then, I would recommend this phone. Otherwise, not.
