Summary: This is a beautiful GSM/3G phone with a bright, colorful screen and many features found in more expensive devices. The Nokia 6555 will find the tower signal even if you live on Mars, and it will do it with great call clarity.
Excerpt: The phone randomly shuts off. I've had the phone replaced and after a few weeks the new one began shutting off as well. I had read some reviews before getting the phone in the first place and since only a few mentioned this problem I ignored it.
Pros: Simple phone, Ok battery life, Easy to use
Cons: Randomly shuts off mid-call/text or even just sitting in your pocket, Easily scratched
Excerpt: I don't ask much from a phone. Talking, texting, and a slightly cool/fun look are about all I need. That said, this phone doesn't do it for me. I upgraded and chose this one over the Nokia 6085, which I thought was a bit plain. Bad call. Everyone with that phone likes it- very reliable. Mine is not.
Excerpt: I have had the phone for one year now. Pros: -screens are in great condition -battery life is decent -easy to download and locate items -calls are easy to understand Cons: -If you text too "fast" the phone turns off, resulting in the battery dying and frustration. -The calender alarms don't work.
Excerpt: Pros: it's an easy phone to use Cons: The battery life is so low that I have a charger at home, work and the car to overcome the issue. I also experience the phone shutting down a lot. When I remove and reinstall the battery, it seems to clear the problem for a week or so. I would not buy it again.
Very poor quality electronics (short circuits, speakers that cut in and out...)

Excerpt: It seemed nice. At first. I've had this thing for about a year now. The battery life has never been good. It is a nice looking phone, and a comfortable size and length. The call quality is good enough -- back when the phone still worked.
