Summary: Even at its peak time this phone should have been considered overpriced and inadequate compared to other brands at its price range. Its advantage is also its disadvantage: being able to slide the buttons makes it very popular, easy to use, carry etc. but because of that the phone is made up of two main sides, the front and the back and after a while it is possible that they become a little separated.
Summary: I've had this phone for about a year now and unfortunately am stuck with it until my contract runs out. The build quality is great, good quality metal frame and quite durable. However ringtones and wallpapers are constantly reset to factory settings which gets very irritating. On my phone the speaker has broken twice limiting the volume of calls to very low making it completely useless unless in a silent background.
Summary: There are plenty of features on this phone but I was dissapointed when the screen broke after about three weeks. I have never had a screen realated problem before and I have treated this phone no different from any other. Despite the fact there are no marks on the case or screen on closer inspection the screen and surrounding area is really flimsy and "gives" even with gentle thumb pressure.
Summary: I spent days looking for a phone that looked good, had a good camera, and was under 250 quid. I decided on the 6500 slide, and after a good 1st month have now decided it was a terrible decision. It tends to randomly freeze, sometimes it just forgets all my contacts, and at other times it becomes impossible to unlock the keypad lock. Apart from this drastic issue, i wasn't best pleased with the camera.
Summary: I got this phone from 3 when I started up a contract from 3 Mobile about 2 weeks ago now. The phone itself looks nice, and is reasonably nice to handle, but the problems that I have had with it have led me to get an exchange of a different handset. Firstly, the battery life, unlike my previous Nokia phone, lasts no more than a day. This is unacceptable, and completly different from what is quoted in the description of the phone itself.
Summary: I have had the phone for over two months and would not recommend it to anyone. There is a known fault with the phone which reverts back to the factory settings. Therefore the standardize ringtone and wallpaper. After speaking to my mobile operator Orange I was told this was known fault and there was nothing that can be done other than sticking cello tape around the battery. I'm not impressed as I'm now stuck with this phone for a further 14 months.
Summary: Hi. Habe heut mein Nokia 6500 bekommen.
