Summary: I had the misfortune of owning this phone for 18 months since I was tied into a contract with 3. It was the biggest mistake of my life. This model failed to live up to Nokia's reputation of high standards and was quite disappointing. The mobile is quite bulky and heavy, it will not fit comfortably in your pocket or in your itsy bitsy handbags ladies.
Pros: attractive look, sturdy
Cons: numerous -poor sound, poor video quality, unreliable, poor reception
Summary: I've had this phone for about a year now and unfortunately am stuck with it until my contract runs out. The build quality is great, good quality metal frame and quite durable. However ringtones and wallpapers are constantly reset to factory settings which gets very irritating. On my phone the speaker has broken twice limiting the volume of calls to very low making it completely useless unless in a silent background.
Summary: I've had my Nokia 6500s for almost a year now and i have been troubled by it throughout that time. I was assured by my network thatthe phone is durable and reliable, without any complaints from satisfied cutomers. However, moving to university last september i found that two of my new housemates also had this phone and were experiencing problems.
Pros: Stylish design and good camera
Cons: Constant crashes, loss of memory card and bad charger
Nokia 6500 slide: Not overly impressed, too many faults

Summary: I have had nothing put problems with this phone, either I am very unlucky or the phone has a lot of little software issues. I have had it replaced three times and each time something has gone wrong. The first time, the sound quality of the speaker was very poor to begin with and after a few weeks you could barely hear anyone talking, or the ring tone.
Pros: Sliding feature to protect keys and very good quality camera.
Summary: I upgraded to the Nokia 6500 slide from a Motorola phone, because my phone provider had agreed that my problems with texting might have been caused by my handset. I was recommended this phone in-store, and have it on an 18-month contract from Orange. I've been using it for around 8 months, and I have to say I'm disappointed. I'd always thought Nokia was a reliable, workhorse-type brand (like Hoover, or John Lewis), but I find this phone to be cumbersome and unreliable.
Summary: 6500 Slide was released around September 2007 in the UK. It is a mid-range phone, pushing its style and construction, along with features that nearly catches up to high-end phones. 6500 Classic is the bar factor phone , with 'identical' features. However, 6500 Slide was and is valued higher, initially going for around £300. Now around £100-150 mark, why is this phone special? I really do not think it's worth such. Here's why.
Pros: Stainlesssteel and all that...
Cons: As you can telll, I'm not very fond of this phone...
