Summary: The quality of this Nokia 6300 slide, I was going to have as a souvenir, is completely different from the one used to be when I had it brand new in 2008 which was made not in China. This one looks and feels really crappy. The picture on the screen is not straight with the body shape of the devise, the sell phone feels much lighter as compared with it used to be. The back cover was damaged when I first take the sell phone out to put the battery in.
Excerpt: lasted only 6 months. Problem with the display report from Digicel Samoa Due to the sliding nature the cable can get defective. Not a smart phone for regular use. Picture are not so outstanding with a 3.5MP camera It only has a quality of 2MP camera.
Cons: Not a smart phone for regular use., Problem with the display
Summary: I bought this phone to replace my current Nokia 6500 slide. Unfortunately, the new phone does not work. The battery is fully charged and it won't turn on. The front sliding piece is on crooked. It did not come in a Nokia box, but in a ML Royal S3588 box, so I am not even sure if it is new as advertised. Also, no software was included. I know how to work this kind of phone because I love the one I already have. I am very disappointed and won't buy from this seller again.
Summary: This phone was a gift and was trouble from the beginning, it arrived without the advertised memory card which was sent out later, and it was scuffed on corners despite being new. The back has been loose for weeks now and my husband has had to stop using it as the battery kept dislodging due to the loose back. Not happy with this buy at all!
Summary: I can barely make a call on this thing without it disconnecting mid call, and I mean 95% of the time this happens, now I just use it for texting and the occasional, miserably slow, single page web search. I am eagerly awaiting the end of this miserable contract so I can finally ditch this terrible phone, a phone which I have owned for 3years now. There is no reason why anybody in their right mind should wish to own or use this phone!
Summary: I recently bought this phone and it was a big mistake as the phone wont read any memory cards and the buttons are very slow or you have to press the button a few times and the battery life is not good.
Summary: This phone looks very stylish yet do not be fooled looks are very deceiving. I have only ever used Nokia phones up until now. I purchased 3 of the 6500 slide for myself and family and they have been horrendously poor. They freeze so that the phone can not be answered when ringing, data is constantly lost, ring tones change regulary, these are just a few of the problems that we have had.
Summary: This phone is good if you live in a 3G area. I do not and so, my phone is constantly trying to find one which wears the battery down. when I took it to my local network provider (3 - in case you are wondering), the salesperson tool one look and knew exactly what the problem was - there's no way of turning off the 3G search facility. A "design flaw" as he called it. No wonder it was free on my tariff!
