The phone features an internal antenna with 5-way navigational keypad, and is powered by a 1050 mAh Li-Ion battery that provides up to 7 hours of talk time and 450 hours of standby time. The phone supports 32 MB of internal memory space with expandability via a microSD and TransFlash card up to a 4 GB capacity. The Nokia 6303 also features 16 million colour TFT 240 x 320 pixel resolution screen, a 3.2 MP camera that has a built-in flash, 8X zoom, Auto-Focus, landscape mode and can record videos at 640 x 480(VGA) and up to 15 fps for sharing. The Nokia 6303 has an MP3 player that supports MP3 / AAC / AAC+ / eAAC+ / MP4 music files, an FM Radio with RDS, speakerphone, 240 x 320 resolution wallpaper and screen saver, 64 chord and MP3 ringtones, themes, J2ME games, multimedia streaming, SMS / EMS / MMS / Email with support for POP3 / IMAP4 / SMTP protocol, Windows Live chat and T9 predictive text.

The Nokia 6303 is a GSM 900/1800/1900 network mobile phone that features a 3.2-megapixel auto-focus camera, dual LED flash, and 8x digital zoom that allows users to capture moments and share them with family and friends. It also features Internet access to check information, make bookings, and stay connected to friends and family. The phone has web browsing capabilities through Nokia OSS web browser that is supported by JavaScript version 1.3 and 1.5, ECMAScript, CSS, and OMA DRM version 2.0. The 6303 also features Opera Mini browser and Nokia Mobile Search. It is pre-loaded with Nokia Maps to help users their way around. Other features on the Nokia 6303 are Bluetooth ® connectivity with EDR for handsfree calls, and support for PC synchronization through Nokia PC suite. The video recording features on this mobile phone records up to 640 x 480 (VGA) 15 frames per second clips in 4 different colour modes, like normal, sepia, greyscale and negative. Users can listen to music on the phone with its music player that supports.mp3, .aac, .mp4, AAC+, enhanced AAC+, H.263 and H.264 file format, as well as through an integrated FM radio 87.5-108 MHz with RDS support. There is a 3.5 mm stereo headphone plug for headphones.

  • Not enough cache memory!

    I wasn’t expecting an i-phone when I bought the Nokia 6303, but I am disappointed with the internet capabilities. I need to view live flight arrivals at London Heathrow Airport, and would also like to view ‘YouTube’. It can barely download the flight arrivals page, i have to first enter the exact web address to get it, and take takes several minutes to download. And viewing anything on the YouTube website is impossible. What is even more ridiculous is the fact the a bookmark icon is preinstalled onto the phone, but you still can’t view anything. It just stops working. I have increased the memory from 1Gb to max 4Gb but makes no difference. I tried contacting Nokia’s premium rate helpline who after over an hour simply said that the webpage was too big for the phones capabilities, or that my airtime provider (T-mobile) was not delivering a fast enough broadband transmission to deliver it. Offered no solution as how to increase the use of the extra 4Gb memory card installed. My question is: Why doesn't the extra 4Gb memory card make use of the cache when using the internet? Or can i delete any of the preinstalled software that i do not use (for example: games) to make extra room for the cache?

  • Mobile Screen Saver

    I have just started using this nokia 6303.. but my screen saver is not coming.. I have set the time out as 10 secs.. and selected a Dark Clock as screen saver.. but it's not coming.. what to do ? :(((((((( otherwise the cell's GREATTTTT :)
