Summary: This is not a genuine nokia product but for price I paid its only to be expected. Sim card door does not close properly, battery had to be removed with a screwdriver. Its a poor clone of a classic phone. So moral of this story is you get what you pay for.
Summary: I am convinced that this phone is a recycled item and it is crap, I bought it as a present and have been very disappointed with it. the battery has to be charged constantly and the item itself over heats and burns the ear when in use. Very disappointed.
Summary: I had a Nokia 6300 a few years ago and I loved it. I was excited about this one coming but what a disappointment. The sound quality was awful. Called a few people while trying to set it up and every one of them said they could hardly hear me. They said it was also really crackling the whole time I was talking. There was no invoice in the packaging which is in everything else I buy from amazon.
Summary: I don't like it. The battery was not new and required a new one and that was send to me free of charge but after one month of using the phone others problems occured, there is no ringtone to the phone, alarm, it only vibrates so it's useless and at this stage it's keep in the cupboard as the speakers don't work and didn't want to pay any more for sending it back to be fixed and for packaging.
Summary: The mobile was in good condition but when I transferred the SIM card from my original Nokia 6300, I found that I had "lost" many of my contact names and all the images in the Gallery. I concluded that the internal memory of this new 6300 was much less than my original one, which had a badly scratched keyboard so that it was difficult to use. Even more frustrating, the predictive text feature was a poor imitation of the original, with a much reduced English vocabulary.
Summary: I purchased this phone at the end of December 2009, and was asked to post a review, which I did. The gist of the review was more about the product versus the company selling the product. The product per se, is excellent (I already have a silver version, but find with my tired eyes reading the keys for text messaging difficult). I was hoping that the black keys would make reading the keys easier, but there's not really that much difference.
Summary: The phone worked beautifully until the 11th month. OK, I dropped it a few times but I dropped phones in the past that didnt stop working. I have about 5 other phones in storage that were battered but functioning (one of which I've just started reusing). What went wrong was quite sudden. The phone started to displayed stripey lines on the screen. When you turn it off then on again, the same stripey behaviour. So although it started off well, it really did fall apart.
Pros: Ease of use. the alarm, the calendar were used a lot. Loads of fields for contact information
Summary: The overall phone quality appears to be very good...HOWEVER... As with almost all Nokia Phones, I get "pathetic" receptionsignal strength in my neighborhood ( a 5 bar area within T-Mobile)I get 0 or 1 bar normally- a MAQXIMUM signal is 2 bars, where I constantly cannot use the phone due to no network coverage error messages I get when attempting to dial out...
Excerpt: Not good for long conversation as heats up quickly. Designed in such a way that hearing is not always good especially when it heats up. Although personally I m fan of NOKIA I do not like any other mobile phones 6300 is provided by my office but I prefer my personal 6280
