Nokia 6300

The Nokia 6300 is a mid-range candybar-type phone that was released by Nokia in November 2006 under its Classic Business series. The phone measures 4.20 x 1.72 x 0.52 inches and weighs 3.21 ounces with its standard Li-ion 80mAh battery that can handle up to 3.5 hours of talk time and up to 336 hours on standby. At the side of the phone, two small lights serve as a visual alert for messages and missed calls. The phone is primarily stainless steel and is made available in silver, black, red & silver, and white & silver.

The phone comes with a 2-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) TFT/TFD LCD display that can support up to 16.7 million colors.

The Nokia 6300 has a free internal user memory of up to 7.8 MB. MicroSD cards of up to 2GB can also be used.

Like all other models in the same series, the Nokia 6300 comes equipped with a camera and a music player.

Camera

The Nokia 6300 has a 2 megapixel camera with a digital zoom of up to 8x. A full screen viewfinder can also be used for portrait and landscape photos. The camera can also be used to capture H.263 format QCIF (176 × 144 pixels) videos at 15 frames per second.

Music Player

Apart from Nokia’s standard FM stereo radio, the 6300 comes with a music player that supports MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+ formats. The phone also uses Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) that implements the DRM release 2.0 for streaming audio files using Bluetooth.
