Excerpt: I'm a self-proclaimed low-tech phone user. I rarely use my phone to text; I don't have data plan and don't use my cell to go online. However, I do use my Nokia 6263 as my primary phone line; I dropped my landline about a year ago. I've used this phone for over a year and for my purposes, it's perfect.
Excerpt: Recently, I finally traded up to a smartphone, so I've retired my Nokia 6263, but I found it to be sturdy and generally easy to use. I'm sorry for the problems that the other user had; I feel for you! I'm not sure what led to the difficulty. In my case, however, this phone was very useful. As you mention, it has a great camera, especially for a phone this size, and it takes video. It's really easy to send picture and video messages. I still use it for an alarm...
Summary: Flip phones are becoming a thing of the past, in this age of smart phones, but I still like them because they are smaller and easier to use. I didn't really need all those fancy apps but I definitely needed a decent camera and Nokia in my opinion are the best for the price. The video, mp3 player and radio are a plus and everything works pretty good. I paid only 85 bucks for this phone new on ebay and so far I like it.
Summary: In my opinion the Nokia 6263 is a decent flip phone. It is easy to use and texters might like the keys as they are not slippery (I do not text). Since I do not have a contract with T-Mobile I can't utilize a lot of the features of this phone. The phone feels lighter than my other cell phone (Nokia 6133) and for the way that I use my cell phone (prepaid and to make and receive calls) I prefer the 6133. The 6263 appears to be another good Nokia product.
Summary: MP3 player and this is a good phone you can buy online for cheap money that is dependable with a large screen and loud speaker, they do lose the chrome on the outside but its decorative and has no affect on the phone's use
Summary: I've been using this phone for about a year now and really like it. I've always used flip-phones only (this probably my 6th or 7th) and I like this one the most overall. The good - * Excellent main screen and bright enough to be useful even in sunlight. * Nice large and esay to use buttons. * Has full outlook sync capability over bluetooth (a really big plus for me). * Easy to use interface. * Decent voice quality and signal retention (though I'm using it with ATT).
Pros: Both screens, Easy Buttons and Controls, Easy To Use
Summary: I used to own and love my old 6133 and this phone being its replacement, I had high expectations. I love how nokia arranges its texting and the bigger keys make it too easy to text while doing things you shouldn't at the same time such as driving and working. So many things are customizable including ringtones, camera settings, groups and the music player. Surfing the web is great and while this is no blackberry, it does it's thing and checking email is a breeze.
