Excerpt: Recently activated new acct -- had the opportunity to try the Nokia 6230i -- I am an avid Nokia user, I have to honestly say, this phone is not worth it-- save your money, or get the 6230. I guess it was because there was just too much going on inside the phone, but the software kept closing down the programs, I was using Bluetooth to load a song, down the power went, had to reopen all the programs again, no sooner had i did all that, the sofware kept closing and...
Summary: The phone works but the cover fits but not very well, It came with a flat battery that will not charge, i did report this and i was told that they would send another battery ,but that did not arrive. That was a few weeks ago.So to day i went to a shop and bought another phone that works.
Summary: This arrive in good time, but the Battery does not last very long at all so had to take one from another phone, it is also abit tempermental when trying to turn in on, but it will do, but my advise would be dont by a used phone.
Summary: This phone is not the most sophisticated in the world, which is reflected in the price tag, but as my children are constantly drooling on and banging my phone around I didn't want to spend too much and just wanted something which did the bare minimum. The phone does fit the bill - it makes calls and texts and takes photos (though doesn't seem to want to accept or send photos). This is all I really wanted.
Summary: The Nokia mobile had some good reviews when it was originally brought out but it seems to have been superceded by a raft of much newer and more uptodate 'phones. The one I purchased lived up to all the reviews I have read and is a good mobile for most uses. The only real complaint I have is that the instruction book leaves something to be desired, I think that the the phone has many more capabilities than are set out in the instructions on how to set it up.
