Summary: I love my Nokia 6230. I purchased it because I have the original hardwired into my car. It wan't working consistently which I thought was the wiring but when I put this new one in it has been working fine. The old ones keys would not always work, so I had to punch the key several times. Yes, I would buy through eBay again.
Excerpt: it has talk time up to 5 hours. it has a stand by upto 380 hours. it has wireless calander, wireless internet, and connected organiser. it has a standard battery made of li-lon. it also has corporate internet access. i can sent e-mails easily, and symbion software makes me to use it easily. the browser html helps me a lot to use internet easily. it has a usp slot which helps me to connect the phone easily to internet. it also has a stylish look.
Summary: very good and tough I got this phone on cingular and it was a GREAT phone. I loved all of the features. I even dropped it around a lot and it still worked as good as when I got it. I even got it wet, I was washing my hands and the phone fell in. When I saw it and my shock of it falling in I still grabbed it fast, and it worked still afterwards.
Summary: I have always loved the Nokia phones and have owned many thru the last 15 yrs. The 6230 has always been my most loved model. It was my true "baby". Small .. truly compact and a powerful little "bull dog" of a companion.
Summary: I wanted to replace a Nokia 3120 which is a good simple phone--I used it for more than 5 years and then decided to up-grade it with the 6230. I based my decision on the fantastic features that the 6230 had. For example it works with Blue tooth, it has a good built in camera, a color screen, can easily be used to send & receive text messages.
Summary: This phone has a compact style, very sturdy and basic for anyone that just wants a phone to talk. its working great in GSM network and has great reception. The price makes it very affordable for anyone that dont need all the features of a smart-phone or PDA. I travel a lot through US and im on the road most of the time so i get to experience how the phone acts while switching from tower to tower. thank you and i hope this helps.
Summary: I owned this phone for quite a long time. I ended up "upgrading" to a razr v3xx and then upgrading to an iphone. A couple years later, and I am back to the 6230. The phone is low key, works SPECTACULARLY at what it is designed to be: a phone. Has all the bells and whistles you might need. (bluetooth, mp3, mmc expandable, etc.) This phone is just perfect. I don't think I'll use anything else, ever again.
