Excerpt: Myself Shashank Panchbhai from Nagpur, I am an Engineering student in feild of Electronics . So i am great fond of Mobile phones... I am using Nokia 6220 classic since 13 months.... Its a best Mobile I ever used. This is my 3rd Mobile after Nokia 6300 and N70... I like this Mobile becoz its great video and Picture qualilty.... ! And ofcourse the 5 MP camera enthralled me............!
Conclusion: Overall, NOKIA 6220 is a very nice and usable phone.Great camera from time to time,GPS works fantastic, locates satellites very fast.Software is very stable.
Pros: Size(goes in every pocket, not bulky as N82,N95,..),weight(only 92g),camera is awesome(when it works),sound(you will hear it even when it's in a bag,or on a loud street),screen(crispy clear, and very good visibility at direct sunlight). Menu is really logical and easy to use ,camera features are great.
Cons: A bit too cheap feeling in your hand, too much plastic, keys need to be used too, camera in dark places doesn't work properly, just doesn't focus normal or doesn't at all,(have to try focus 2-3 times, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't,other than that it produces fantastic pictures!),battery life is a story of it's own, lasts about 1,5-2 days(if you turn off vibration, don't use Gps too much, and put the display light to minimal,it lasts to 4 days,at least in my ca...
Excerpt: good.but there`s no wi fi and menu key in bad location.so c key.and speaker in the above and small.and has only 2.5 jack.it has many defect in design.......like n82...look like nokia designer become baaaaaaaaaad....and nokia became in the back after SE and sumsung. now there`s 8 mega camera and touch screen...bad 4 u nokia.....
Summary: I upgraded from a Nokia 6233 to the 6220 Classic recently and haven't looked back. The main feature for me was the inbuilt GPS. As I was considering buying a GPS unit, it made perfect sense to get a new phone with the GPS built in. It does a great job, I've got mine stuck to the windscreen in the car which is where the best signal is achieved.
Nokia 6220 classic: Functional and Reliable with useful gadgets
22 February 2011
Summary: This phone is ideal if you're looking for a functional phone, with a good camera, internet capabilities and mapping. It does not have a touch screen or any flashy apps, but the battery life is excellent and it has all the features you could want from a non-iphone type phone . The phone itself is very light and has a large screen, however the casing does feel cheap and flimsy, being made of plastic and consequently it does scratch rather easily.
Summary: I have had this phone for around 18 months now, coming to the end of my contract :) The phone is a typical Nokia for me, in the sense of being reliable. I have always used and recommended Nokia's as they seen quite robust and are easy to use phones , this model follows on in the series. I purchased the phone mainly because it has a 5mp camera and looks quite stylish. It also does a pretty good job too.
Pros: Great camera and has everything you need
Cons: It you want good applications this isn't for you
Summary: The Nokia 6220 Classic is an excellent phone for users who want to just use the basics. The camera quality is excellent and as always the Nokia user interface is easy to use for all levels of user. The camera is 5 mega pixels which is brilliant quality for taking photos when out with friends or family. The phone also comes with GPS which is an excellent feature as it means you will never get lost with this phone!
Summary: I've owned this phone for just over a year now. So far its been a solid phone with no faults or reliability issues. Its quite small and slim without being so small it looks silly. Its certainly of a size that you can slip it into your poket without any discomfort or large bulges which I like as I always seem to be knocking of the clip to your trouser/belt type phone holders. The buttons and other controls aare all fine for me, I dont have overly large fingers.
Excerpt: The Nokia 6220 Classic is a great phone if you want a lot of features but don't want to carry around a large handset. Our only disappointments are that the camera isn't as good as the one on the Nokia N82 and that there's no Wi-Fi The feature list is incredible: 3G Symbian smartphone with HSDPA. 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and xenon flash. Video calling. Music player and FM radio. A-GPS navigation and Nokia Maps 2.0.
