Excerpt: I’ve gone through 4 or 5 of these phones, so I know them like the palm of my hand. The first thing I would like to point out is that these are VERY rugged phones. One example was one rainy night when I was in a particularly bad mood. My poor cell phone got the brunt of my fury. I threw that poor thing a good 10 feet away onto concrete at least 4 times, and tried to drown it in some several-inch-deep puddles.
Excerpt: Why did I buy a Nokia 6101? This happened about 3-4 years ago. My beloved but second hand 6610 was falling apart. What was the dream phone for me? Well, I’m a simple guy. I want something that’s inexpensive (probably a notch higher than the cheapest ones). I want a clam shell model since I’ve been imagining those kinds of phones since the 1990s. And since I’m also a big fan of the 2110 (my first phone), I also like big clicking keypads. You find all of that in the 6101.
Summary: Well I received this phone with non working volume, I have tried to adjust the left volume, but its broken or something, right now it is on the lowest volume and I really cannot hear - voices are very dim. So, overall this phone was sold with a broken volume and was not noted.
