  • Excerpt: I've had this phone for years and still not willing to part with it. Simply because it's small, light and has most things that I need in a phone. It has calendar, alarm clock, internet browsing (although no javascript support which is a pain nowadays).

Build something better?

GSM, Phone Scoop
18 July 2005
  • Excerpt: Nokia 6100 is one of the best phones I've ever used. Although it does not have any bells, whistles, or kitchen sinks, it is hands-down one of the best phones out there. I must have used at least 30 phones in my life, I'm on my third 6100 phone (first time ever to buy the same model phone once I lose...

hominid7, Phone Scoop

  • Excerpt: I purchased this phone recently and put it to work with my T-Mobile service. Initially i found the phone to be a very nice size. Small, but with a conservative and nice keypad layout. The screen is decent, considering it's a nokia...

6100 -- OK

ltxi, Phone Scoop
27 December 2003
  • Excerpt: Excellent form factor! Fits anywhere without bulging; especially great in tight jeans. The price you pay for that small, slim size, though, is low end sound due to the small speaker, difficulty positioning it on your ear (well, mine anyway), and a far less than optimal antenna giving you wildly...

Rather overpriced but satisfactory.

  • Summary: This is my third Nokia 6100. The first, from new, just died from old age and lack of care, the second, purchased via Amazon late last year, was reconditioned but looked and operated as new.

  • Excerpt: I suppose it could be considered a little embarrassing to post a review on a phone that is as old as this one, but I still use it as a weekend phone when we are out and about in the car. There are 3 reasons for this: 1.

Reliable, sensitive, SIMPLE.

R. F. Stevens, Amazon
1 May 2010
  • Summary: A simple, small, basic tri-band phone, and, at the time I bought it, a Which? best buy for clarity of speech and good sensitivity for use in poor reception areas. It is now converted to PAYG with roaming and mainly used infrequently, as an emergency phone when travelling or for keeping in touch with...

It does what it says on the tin...um, box!

InsaneStar, Dooyoo

  • Excerpt: As you will see from all the other reviews, this mobile phone is more or less unbreakable! I've had mine for about three years now and all I have to show for it is a few scratches and slight wear on the buttons. If you just want a phone for calling and texting then this it.

  • Excerpt: I had this cellphone for three years and hardly had any complains. It was a very compact and easy to use phone that offered good basic feature which makes it ideal for a student. Basic features such as calling and texting were excellent. It also had other features such as GPRS and infra red.
  • Pros: Compact; has all the basic features
  • Cons: The cover is a bit tacky
