Summary: I have had a number of the Nokia 6085 phones. They are small, hold charge well and are reasonably durable. If you don't want a smart phone this is a good choice, and many are available at a good price. Unfortunately, this one came with a small piece missing at the charger port.
Used Nokia 6085 Intermittant in Reception/Transmission
24 February 2013
Summary: We chose to purchase a used Nokia 6085 instead of a new one to save money. Unfortunately, the used one performs intermittantly. When a call is made, those on the other end say that the transmission breaks up. Similarly, the audio breaks up on the phone during calls.
Summary: Many people are enamored of the Nokia 6085. Yes, it has that Nokia quality feel, made well unlike my samsung t259 which seemed so fragile and cheap. The Nokia is easy to dial and also is pretty.
Summary: This phone works great for voice but don't count on texting. It will freeze on your while you are texting if another text rolls in while you are texting. Don't buy if you want to text also. Buy if you want to just talk.
Summary: I thought "Here is my kind of phone!" A small flip phone with no fancy things. I could not figure out how to change my address list from last name first to first name first. The instructions for how to do it didn't work. I don't know the last name of many of my friends and contacts.
Excerpt: I've had two 6086's ( on T-Mobile WiFi @ Home ) and both had the same symptoms, so I'm not sure if it's something interfering with the signal in my home or another factor. The phone would intermittently loose the WiFi @ home signal.
Summary: I bought this phone last week and although I can live with it, there are many things that just bug the heck out of me. I'll list here what I didn't like: *The screen is way too small, especially for a phone this bulky. *The screen is VERY hard to see in sunlight.
