Everything you should know before buying Nokia 5800

Excerpt: This is one of the low end Nokia Symbian smartphones. It features Symbian S60v5 which has a decent availability of apps. Pros-- Look- The model is attractive. It has a dark coffee color back which adds to its beauty. Camera- One of the best feature of mobile. Still photography is good. Video capturing is very good. You can easily play recorded video on laptop without blurring. Secondary camera, for video chat, takes decent shots.
Excerpt: Overall a low end smartphone in my opinion, super slow processor at 434Mhz single core, not good, very unresponsive, takes few seconds to load an app, frequent lag in UI,and hangs frequently, and sometimes ever turns off itself, phone can also get very hot at times.Nevertheless,it is indestructible.
Excerpt: The phone is just not worth it. I've owned it for over 6 months now and it's just horrible. I mean if you plan on using it just for texting and calls then you're fine. Otherwise expect a lot of trouble coming from this device. Nokia really need to fix up the NAM. As for the European/International model it has the latest and best firmware on its device. The WiFi has its issues; it disconnects from time to time, and sometimes it doesn't even detect any routers.
Excerpt: I was excited to get my first keyboardless cell phone - when I bought it not too many were all touch screens, most still had keyboards and i did not want that. The phone is fairly easy to use although i was stil learning shortcuts a good 9 months after I bought the phone. The biggest issue with the phone is that it often freezes. This can happen when trying to answer a phone call and when trying to hang up from a phone call.

Excerpt: Although the phone is reliable it lacks a certain quality that, for the price, makes it just another phone. the phone has excellent WiFi connection. I personally liked the fact that I could surf the net as fast as I could at home (getting around 500 kb/s), a definite upgrade for my old phone. another interesting quality is that, unlike many other phones, this phone actually has a good alarm clock, I use it everyday to get up for work and it has never failed me.
Pros: Wifi, bluetooth, tethering apps available, great music phone, expandable memory, FREE PROPRIETARY NAVIGATION, excellent(seriously!) built-in speakers, customization options available without "hacking" the firmware
Cons: Horrible touch response, glitchy, low on internal memory, slow reaction times, limited accessories/compatibility/available app market, thick form factor, feels cheap, miserable camera (3.2MP cam looks like a 2MP), non-intuitive S60v5 firmware
