See lessWe had been anxiously awaiting to get our mitts on the 5800 as Nokia's first touchscreen device and we have to say that it didn't wow us all that much in the end. We were expecting great things from its 3.2-megapixel camera given the performance of other Nokia devices we'd seen, but we were sorely let down by the 5800 in this respect. While its S60 operating system offers a lot of power, extensibility, and flexibility, we found the touch interface to be unintuitive and... Read more
When I first saw the Nokia XPressMusic 5800 I was disappointed . We saw it last October, at a time when everyone and their dog was releasing a touchscreen phone to “beat” the iPhone. The version I saw initially was quite wonky with a touchscreen interface essentially bolted onto Symbian resulting in weird behavior. But I’m sorry that I doubted Nokia. The 5800 is one of the nicest little touchscreen phones I’ve used in a long while and, aside from a few quirks,... Read more
A phone that seems to provide as much as it promises, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is set to create waves when it comes out in December 2008. Definitely worth it, especially for the music lover. The phone sure delivers. Read more
Conclusion Nokia's first touch screen S60 smartphone is a success overall. It's easy to use, fun and has a compelling set of features. Not to mention it has excellent call quality and reception. Nokia could add some polish and abolish those scroll bars, but these small complaints don't stand in the way of using the phone nor do they annoy us unduly. If you're a Nokia fan and want to join the touch screen crowd, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is a great way to start. It's... Read more

I've owned only 4 phones in my time and 3 of them have been Nokia. I keep going back to Nokia because they make a phone work like a phone should first and foremost. Second, the build quality and overall quality of their phones are second to none. That said, I wanted a touch phone and the 5800 fits the bill and more. The interface is largely the same as any other Symbian phone only optimized for touch now. I found the menus to be straightforward and everything seems... Read more

First of all i will really like to commend amazon on a job well done when it comes to the ordering aspects of any item.
