The Nokia 5630 XpressMusic is a GSM 850/900/1800/1900/HSDPA2100/ 900 network mobile phone designed in a PDA form factor and utilizes the Symbian v9.3 operating system. The Nokia 5630 measures 112 x 46 x 12 mm and weighs 83g. The phone features an internal antenna with 5-way navigational keypad, and is powered by an 860 mAh Li-Ion battery that provides up to 7 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby time. The phone supports 256MB of internal memory space with expandability via a microSD and TransFlash card. The Nokia 5630 XpressMusic also features a 2.2-inch 16-million color TFT 240 x 320 pixel resolutions screen with ambient light sensor. It also supports a 3.2-MP camera with CMOS sensor, a built-in flash, 4 x zoom, red-eye reduction, landscape mode and self timer. The camera can also record videos for sharing. The Nokia 5630 has an MP3 player that supports MP3/AAC/ACC+/eAAC/eAAC+/WAV music files, has Say & Play Music Search functions, an FM Radio with RDS, speakerphone, 240x 320 resolution wallpaper and screen saver, flight mode, 64 chord and MP3 ringtones, themes, J2ME and N-Gage games, Window Media Player, SMS/EMS/MMS/Email with support for POP3/IMAP4/SMTP protocol, Windows Live chat and T9 predictive text.

The Nokia 5630 XpressMusic is a music phone with voice-controlled ‘Say and Play’ feature that automatically plays music when users announce the name of an artist or song. The built-in music player has control keys, a 4GB microSD card to save up to 3000 songs and a 3.5mm AV jack. Transfer and management of music library can be done via drag-and-drop function. The Nokia 5630 XpressMusic’s homescreen accesses up to 20 contacts and displays recent emails, messages, phone logs and photos shared. The shortcuts bar shows the most frequently used applications. The 5630 XpressMusic also comes with N-Gage games; an integrated 3.2-megapixel camera with flash takes photos (up to 2048 x 1536 pixels) and videos that can be shared online on sites such as Share on Ovi, Flickr, or Facebook with its HSDPA 10.2 Mbps and HSUPA 2 Mbps date transfer speed with connectivity through Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g wireless and a secondary camera for VGA video calls. The phones call features include Vibration/Downloadable polyphonic/MP3 ringtones, almost unlimited entries and fields in its phonebook, Photocall, 256MB storage and 128MB RAM memory, Bluetooth® v2.0 A2DP connectivity for handsfree calls and WAP 2.0/xHTML web browser. The Nokia 5630 XpressMusic phone is available in Red, Blue and Silver.
