The Nokia 5235 is a mobile phone designed in a classic form factor that measures 111 x 51.7 x 14.5/15.5 mm and weighs 115g. The phone features a 3.2“ touchscreen with 640 x 360 pixels (nHD) pixel resolution with over 16 million colours. There is also a dedicated media bar for accessing music, gallery, share online, video centre and web browser as well as keys for camera, volume, power, send & end, and application launch (menu). The 5235 also has a homescreen that lets users navigate their music plug-in for pause/play, forward and back. Available in white with ice-blue tinted chrome rim or black with ice-blue tinted chrome rim, the Nokia 5235 allows users to customize the handset with themes, icons, shortcuts and menu as well as profiles, and supports mp3, AAC, eAAC, eAAC+, and WMA ringtones. It also supports video ring tones, wallpapers, screensavers, pre-installed themes and changeable colour themes. The Nokia 5235 is powered by a BL-5J 1320 mAh Li-Ion battery that provides up to 420 minutes (GSM)/ 258 mins (WCDMA) of talk time and up to 438 hours (GSM)/458 hours (WCDMA) or standby time. It plays up to 180 minutes of video (nHD, 30 fps, maximum) and up to 33 hours of music.

The Nokia 5235 is a Quad band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA 850/1900, 850/2100 and 900/2100 mobile phone that can automatic switching between GSM bands. It supports CSD, HSCSD (maximum speed 43.2 kbps), GPRS/EGPRS Class B, multislot class 32, maximum speed 177/296kbps (DL/UL), EDGE class B, multislot class 32, maximum speed 177/296 kbps (DL/UL), WCDMA 2100, maximum speed PS 384/384 kbps (UL/DL), CS 64 kbps, HSDPA, cat. 6, maximum speed 3.6 Mbps (DL) and TCP/IP data class and has capability to serve as data modem. It also features a MicroSD memory card slot which is hot swappable and supports up to 16 GB. This is additional storage space to the phone’s integrated 320 MB internal memory. The Nokia 5235 also supports Bluetooth version 2.0, local and remote SyncML synchronization, High-Speed USB 2.0 (micro USB connector), an FM radio, a 3.5 mm AV connector, MTP (Mobile Transfer Protocol) support, Direct printing to compatible picture printers and PC synchronisation with Nokia Ovi Suite. It features user interface and software such as S60 5th edition, Symbian OS version 9.4, voice commands, FOTA (Firmware update Over The Air) and Software updates. Users can also obtain turn-by-turn directions to their destinations via the Ovi Maps 3.0 application, and browse the internet via HTML, XHTML, or WML. The Nokia 5235 also features a 2 megapixel camera with 3x digital zoom and a photo editor on device to edit their images, video recording capabilities at up to 640 x 480 pixels and up to 30 fps (TV high quality), up to 640 x 352 pixels and up to 30 fps (widescreen quality), up to 320 x 240 pixels and up to 30 fps/15 fps (email high/normal quality), and up to 176 x 144 and up to 15 fps (sharing quality).

    nokia is much better than samsung monte because it has an os that is symbian which u can use to install more application and its camera is also gud and record videos at 30 fps with its 2mp camera but monte has 3.2mp camera but still it cannot record that only at 15 fps monte works on touch viz and u can't get the more applications for that nokia also has gud battery back and music of 33 hours but monte didn't have gud battery backup....for more quarries u can check out this site this is comparison between both the phones. http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=3117&idPhone2=3056
