Excerpt: there just is not enought info to do a proper rewiew, im sure when nokia has all its feed back on the 5230 cell phone will get another look at it. untill then lets take another look for a cell phone that have been on the market for a while.
Excerpt: I own this phone right now and I can honestly say that I have never hated a phone so much in my life. Now i will give it credit if what your looking for is a phone that wont die after a two hour phone call then this is the phone for you. But for those of us who use this phone all day the battery on it sucks! Not to mention the touch screen. I hate the touch screen because it is always causing a delay or makes my phone freeze up.
Pros: The ovi Store, which has a series of free apps, most of the call functions.
Cons: Most of the phone system, even though this phone was free, I thought, that this phone was going to be my best phone, after recording videos, i couldn't watch the video and was really annoyed with this problem
This is not worth your money. It malfunctions and causes many problems.

Summary: I bought the Nuron two years ago. I bought it for texting and calling. Here's what I've found. Pros: The camera is pretty good for a phone this cheap. It offers apps.. Call quality is fairly good. However, I've found this phone to be very VERY problematic. Cons: It freezes. I've never used the web nor downloaded any apps, but it freezes just about every day. When I'm texting and I receive a call, it buzzes and won't let me push any buttons, not even power off the phone.
Excerpt: I have had this phone for 3 months, or well i have had 7 of these phones in 3 months bc each one had the same problems. The screen went white very often and the phone also reset all by its self and then froze wen it TRIED to boot back up. Here is my opinion on the phone: if u look up the word crap in the dictionary, the picture of the phone will be right there.
Excerpt: the phone is slow and laggy. programs r very poorly constructed, have the worst aim software ever. have to go through a lot of commands just to make a simple call. if it wasnt for it is able to go onto the internet id stick with a regular cell phone from 10 years ago rather than this one. with aim left on your battery only last about 2 hours at most.
Excerpt: It's easy to work with but the quality of the phone just sucks. The phone has so many problems with it. I haven't dropped it once nor put it near water or anything like that. I only have had for about 4 months and I already hate it. Everything about this phone sucks. Do NOT waste your money on it.
Excerpt: I might have a defective phone (but I doubt that Nokia will honor its warranty) or Nokia admits that it made a mistake when it put the phone on the market. I am convinced that this model represents a design failure. I have owned the phone for six months, and I feel that either there is something wrong with my phone or Nokia's decision to put this model on the market was a grave mistake.
"A (kind of) smart phone w/othe $50/month data plan."
10 October 2010
Pros: 3G data speeds (kind of) in 3G areas (that is, where T-Mobile advertises 3G areas AND actually delivers them; you mileage may vary), a quite good speaker, moderately good music/podcast playing capability, superb camera/video, great phone comms.
Cons: Form factor too small, case too slick, odd shape slips out of hands, weird power jack (but good headphone jack) SLOW and laggy OS, slow orientation sensor, who's writing ANYTHING for Symbian, anyway? Internet speeds even on 3G disappointing.
