Summary: I loved this phone. I used it for years (I can't remember exactly, maybe 7?) with fairly heavy use. I'm not a fan of the big bulky smartphones. This was small and compact & never noticed it in my pocket. The buttons were easy to use and worked fine after being dropped several times. Easy to navigate and used the internet several times for banking, weather, etc. Keep in mind this review is compairing other flip phones.
Summary: This is the smallest and lightest phone that I can find to fit in my arm band when I go out for a run. I was deciding between this and the Samsung a530. Both are small phones for the Verizon network. I went for Nokia because of their reputation for simple phones. This basic phone lasted me a good two weeks on stand-by without a recharge, given that I only make one or two calls for about a 2 minutes talk time. This phone is paired with Verizon network.
Excerpt: I also found it hard to hear people on the other end of this phone and this freaking sucked so much and the phone came in static quite a bit and the phone ran around a few hundred bucks which I thought was a rip off because of the quality of phone it was. The mobile web even worked so slow on this phone which got me annoyed often.
Excerpt: I got this phone when it was time for me to upgrade. I previously had a green enV. I wanted something lighter and I got it. That's about the only thing this phone has going for it. It's light. This phone feels so cheap it's insane. The front and back cover are a flimsy plastic that just snaps on and randomly snaps off. If it weren't for the $35 restocking fee I would have sent this sucker back.
Excerpt: This phone is quite a disappointment. I was looking for a new phone that came free with the next 2 year plan I signed up for and this one was small and compact, just what I was looking for. I hate large phones and want something that fits in my hand easily. Well, it is small and it does fit in my hand, but it has its share of problems. A few weeks after using it, I noticed that it would turn off when I shut the phone.
I would never buy another 2705 cell phone from Verizon.

Excerpt: My experience with the 2705 Verizon Wirless cell phone was terrible. The second month the phone was in my possesion it stoped working. The Charger had died out. And the only way I could charge my phone was by using a certain Motorola charger. The Keyocera charger fit my phone but it didnt work. It will only work with Motorola. Which I dont understand because the 2705 Verizon Wirless Cellphone was a Nokia. The battery dies out quickly.
Summary: I have a cattle ranch and work way out of range of most towers. I wanted to try this phone but was alittle worried about it. So far it has been the best phone I've found at receiving and sending calls. The battery life is great. The only thing I have found that could be better is the cover is flimsy and the ring tone needs to be louder.
looking for a stylish phone with no internet functionality? buy this phone!

Summary: Great phone for just talking. I bought this cause I don't like paying 30, 40$ for internet service. This is just what I need. Bluetooth works great. Camera is mediocre but I don't even use it. Battery last two days standby and one days with medium talking with a single charge. That's what I like about Nokia phone. Great battery life. Smartphones drain out battery so quick that when you need to call somebody there's not enough juice.
Love the fact that I was able to get this phone without the camera

Summary: I can't have a camera phone at my job. I was happy to find this phone without the camera. I don't subscribe to a data package so this phone is an excellent choice for my usage. The sound quality and battery life is very good.
