Nice and simple, no need to tinker with a winning formula

Summary: My mother is happy, I can't complain. She already owned the same model but it's on its last legs so a brand-new replacement was just the thing. Having perused the phone, I can see the appeal - it's simple to use, lightweight, ergonomic and has a good battery life. The camera isn't bad for such a basic phone either.
Summary: Wanted an easy to use phone, with camera facility, suitable for any network to use with existing SIM card as a birthday gift for my technophobe husband. Nokia 2330 SIM-free mobile phone fully fitted the bill. Arrived quickly, with clear instructions for use, charger and ear piece, although removing the back and inserting the battery caused a little fun. Excellent value for money and very easy to use.
Summary: Styling and build quality good. Seems to be good choice of cases and skins too. Calls easy, and good sound. Loudspeaker good. Menu great, as always - Nokia! Intuitive. Calendar, alarm, to do list, countdown timer, stopwatch... Camera quite poor - not really bothered, though. Video also poor. Connectivity - GPRS v good; Bluetooth - not done yet - would need adapter for computer.
Summary: I purchased this phone for my mother in law who is 88 years old and an avid user of mobile phones. Her old phone finally gave up the ghost after 10 years use. I went on to the Amazon site and browsed through all the SIM-free phones and purchasers reviews and decided on the Nokia 2330. I am glad I chose this phone as it has proved to be brilliant and it does exactly "what it says on the tin".
