Summary: Bought Nokia 2320 gophone for roaming in Mexico. At a cost of $15 at Bestbuy and with $15 credit and a promise of $0.25 per minute roaming it sounded very good. But that's where the goodness ended. The service was practically unusable in Mexico as it ate through $15 credit in a matter of a few calls. Looking at calling history showed that I was charged for calls that never actually went through.
Summary: My elderly mom needs a cell phone for emergencies only. So, we didn't need to complicate her life with refilling her phone every few months in order to keep the phone number active. The AT&T rep promised me via e-chat that you replace minutes only when you want or need to--the phone will never lose its phone number or service for lack of refilling on a regular basis. So, I bought this phone for her because it was everything we were looking for.
The "Included $15" is not easy to obtain or simply bogus
