Summary: I purchased this for my husband since his older cell phone just stopped working. He just needed this as a spare to call the family because we have a family plan. He has a smart phone that he uses for business.
Summary: We have only owned cheap phones and have never had a data plan and have only recently done much texting, so I am not comparing this phone to the expensive phones. We had an old (also cheap) Nokia that was a forerunner to this, and I liked it much better.
