Excerpt: This is a very basic phone, perfect for the essentials (SMS, calls, phonebook). It's durable, but the keypad is fragile. The best thing is the flashlight, and the sound. I've used by two years and still working.
Pros: Powerful flashlight, Good sound, Cheap, Functional
Summary: I am no one to criticize cell phones, considering that I washed TWO in my jeans in three months! I had JUST agreed with AT&T for another two years as well. I thought I was lost until my nephew told me about `Go Phones'.
Summary: I have a T-Mobile prepaid plan, this phone was very easy I just took the SIM card from my old phone and put it in this phone. Bingo I was in business with all my contacts from the SIM card available.
Excerpt: Had it for about a year before moving to a Blackberry. Never let me down, great call quality, durable although I cracked the display cover after sitting on it. Still sitting in my drawer and will crank it up again if something happens to the 'berry.
Summary: One can take issue with all of the features that this phone does not have, but really, that's the point of the phone.
Pros: An inexpensive and reliable phone. It works with AT&T's network. It has a handy flashlight function. As an unlocked phone, your telco doesn't have the opportunity to mess with the menus and hotkeys!
Cons: As you can see from the photos, the bottom corner keys are rounded off; this makes them a bit harder to press. I'm sorry to see that this uses a new charger port (such that all my old Nokia chargers don't fit).
Excerpt: This is a cheap replacement phone for a cheap phone. As a communications device, it actually has more useful phone features than the Nokia 2610 it replaced. Sure the screen is low resolution, but the numbers are easier to see, it has a louder speaker, and its easy to use.
Summary: Newegg rocks with shipping and handling. Keep up the great work!
Pros: I needed a phone immediately, and didn't really want to extend my contract. This phone works for text and calling. Flashlight is a plus. Tap the up key 2x to light up, tap once more to turn light off. Looks solid built, relatively light in weight. Recognized my contact list from sim card immediat...
Cons: Battery life is ok. Surprised with the 7 hours talk time, not really getting it. more like 4-5. Not bad though. Could use some bluetooth but for the price i guess i can't complain. Besides i just use the speaker phone when driving, it's relatively loud so it's not such a big deal.
Summary: I bought my Nokia 1208 at a local store, not Newegg. I replaced an older Nokia which didn't work properly. The one I bought is locked to a particular carrier. I don't see the need for an unlocked one at the moment. One day I'll buy a Nokia smartphone. This will do for now.
Pros: Has basic features you need for making calls, including speakerphone and phone book storage. Supports multiple phone books. I prefer bar phones over flip-phones. I love the flashlight feature! I stumbled into an undocumented (AFAIK) feature that turns on the light quickly. Phone must be in standb...
Cons: I examined this phone at the store where it was bolted to a display. When I got home and opened my package I was surprised how small it was. I'd prefer that it were bigger. If you have large hands or fat fingers, check dimensions before buying. Other cons are minor nits which barely affect usage....
Excerpt: I got this phone for $20 and I found out I could have gotten it at Walgreens for $15 With that said, I love the phone, it gets great service with T-Mobile, it has a flashlight, it's small and Nokia.
