Best backup phone for a battery sucking smartphone

cnstud, Ebay
13 January 2014
  • Summary: I am a big fan of bare bones monochrome display phones, and Nokia 1100 is my favorite due to great user interface, and amazing battery life. My primary phone is an iPhone and sometimes the battery dies on me after continuous usage of GPS, videos, music and apps, and I pop in my micro SIM into this Nokia I always carry with me all the time. This is important, as people can now get in touch with me as opposed to the micro SIM in my battery dead iPhone!

  • Summary: I bought this to replace the same model phone that my daughter lost in deep water and love how easy it is to use. I also love that it has a flash light that is very bright.

This Nokia doesn't have any defects.

  • Summary: if it's a Nokia the cell phone is the greatest. Nokia 1100 is perfect for using-the battery last a week,if it falls it won't break and it has some other qualities the price higher.

  • Excerpt: I have had a tracfone since they came out, because I thought it was cheap!! NOT!! I never get good service there always dropping calls. I call the company for support and they give you a hard time when they can understand you and vice-versa. I have only kept it because I know that my kids can use it when they go to certain places and reach me as long as they have service!!!

  • Excerpt: My first cell phone was a Nokia and I cant tell you how much I loved that phone.I am rather clumsy and I dropped it maybe a total of 100 times and yet it still worked, rather impressive dont you think? Now I have recently bought this phone and found its even better than my first. It has great new features and interesting ringtones.I love it.Nokia really is the best in cell phone technology.

  • Excerpt: The good: The Motorola U9 offers an attractive design, a decent music player with stereo Bluetooth, and an appealing display. The bad: The Motorola U9's controls are flat and slippery and its memory card is in an inconvenient location. Its menus can be sluggish and its photo quality is poor. The bottom line: The Motorola U9 is a mostly reliable music phone with an eye-catching design. We had a few complaints, but it makes up for its deficiencies with good call quality.

  • Excerpt: This Nokia phone is simple, easy to use, no frills - This phone is great if you don't want to use them anyways - no risk of getting charged for things you don't use or need  ;) This phone is easy to navigate and Cingular gives great rebate- FREE phone ;) Cons may be that this may not be available any longer, no frills if you want them- cannot add these features later on etc...

I do not like that I do not have covarage on every tower.

  • Excerpt: I like the convenience of this phone most of the time. But quite often I can not get extra time on the Internet or with a time card. So I have to call and most of the time I can not understand the person I am speaking to because they are in another country.
