Summary: I like the look of the phone, But it is really hard to hear someone talk on it. I don't know why and when it is on vibrate, I never hear it, and I always would have my phone on vibrate and could hear it. I wish now I would have sent it back. Thank You!

Excerpt: The Motorola w385 is a nice phone to have if you arent into the new high tech smartphones. Has all the capabilites an average cell phone has including calling, media texting, and pictures. It has internet and email/instant messaging capabilities but I wouldn't recommend using them. What I like most about the phone is that the text messages automatically pop up on the screen without having to press 'view message' to read it.
Excerpt: nice phone but don't like that i can't scroll in either direction in my CONTACTS list. wish the ringer was louder and that it would vibrate stronger. is a comfortable phone to hold. nice and sleek to fit in pocket.
Excerpt: This Motorola telephone, model w385 is a very basic telephone. If one needs to just call and speak and nothing else fancy, then this is the phone for you. It is light weight, flip phone and the coverage with Verizon Wireless is far reaching.
Excerpt: Overall I'm very pleased with this Motorola v385. It's slim and light to carry. The only complaint that I have is the reception is less than perfect. I find that in rural areas or on the Interstate, I have less reception than I've had with phones that had an external antenna.
Excerpt: The W385 is a useful telephone for the person who wishes to use mostly voice and some text. It has a good speaker and microphone system and it's layout is very intuitive. For those who wish to text often this phone is lacking, it does not a a full keyboard and thus does not allow for the quick texting which it expected today.
Excerpt: We bought this phone awhile ago because we were told it had exceptional battery life. Well, some of that is true. Was told by the salesman that it would last on the entire time for 5 days. That is a stretch. After 3 days we have to give it a nice full drink of charge. The buttons are pretty decent to push. The options for an easy user like myself are nice. I do not get much into mobile/texting etc...so for me, it isn't a problem that this phone is not "high tech.
Excerpt: The Motorola w385 is a great phone for making calls and that is about it. Texting is not difficult, but sometimes time consuming, especially when the word you are looking for isn't programed into the phone, the iTap program is excellent when the word you are texting in is recognized, but a real pain when the word isn't that is when things get kind of time consuming. The internet program on the phone is good for simple tasks.
Excerpt: I got this phone a few years ago and used it up until this past summer. It served me well for more than two years. This phone proved to be very reliable. It survived countless drops onto every surface for carpet and tile to asphalt and concrete. After every drop it continued to work without a problem. While the outside did receive some scratches it did not affect it overall performance. The phone has good call quality and I never had problems with receiving signal.
Summary: I ALWAYS BUY MOTOROLA PRODUCTS BUT i WAS REALLY UPSET WHEN I PURCHASE THIS PHONE BECAUSE MOTOROLA USUSALLY HAS EXCELLENT PHONES BUT THIS COULD BE WORST PHONE MOTOROLA COULD OF MADE. WHEN YOU HAVE SAVE MESSAGE ON YOUR PHONE. YOU CAN'T RECEIVE NEW ONES PLUS THE CAMERA DOESN'T TAKE GOOD PICTURES EITHER AND THE BATTERY DIES TO FAST..
