Excerpt: A little over a year ago, it was time to renew my contract with Verizon and get my phone replaced. Finances were stretched at the time, so free phones were my only option. Fortunately, I found the perfect balance between cost and features: the Motorola W385.
Summary: I bought this older phone for someone who liked his old one and did not want to upgrade. Was very happy with it. Went online to Verizon and activated it without a problem. Very pleased. Quick delivery.
Summary: Have had 3 of these... (I washed one in laundry and and smashed one in car door...OOPS!) Got 3rd because it works great, is tough, and call quality is really good! I don't need a smartphone or data plan for a communication device... this is a reliable and economically simple solution! The best "dumbphone" I ever owned!! Camera is kinda lackluster, but I don't use a phone camera much, anyhow.
Summary: Purchased a two year contract from Verizon on two of these phones in a family plan several years ago. The phones are great little devices that handle most of what we were looking for. One of the problem we have found its that the batteries tend to start loosing the ability to keep a charge so that even on short calls the battery indicator will drop down to one bar and a recharge is necessary.
