Motorola W385 – Similar to its predecessor

etechreviews.net
14 December 2010
  • Excerpt: Motorola W385 has a lot in common with Krzr also from the same manufacturer. The dimensions are pretty identical but the W385 has more of a boxy look to it. It weighs 3.8 ounces and is a bit heavier as compared to Krzr. The extra weight also makes the phone feel sturdy in the hand. I was disappointed to see that this handset doesn’t have the Krzr’s hardened glass on the body and instead, it is covered on the front and back by rubbery black material.

Motorola W385

cellphones.ca

  • Excerpt: If you take the sexy Motorola KRZR and put it through cell phone boot camp you end up with the Motorola W385 ; similar in design to the KRZR but more durable and less flashy. While the dual band CDMA W385 shares a similar frame with the KRZR, the exterior is black and rubberized, making it easy to hold and adding a layer of durability. The feature set, too, has taken a step down from its sexier counterpart.
